Huw and his team took a big group of us out mountain biking in the Black Mountains- it was fantastic. Really varied, just the right level of challenge and the route was great. Would absolutely recommend!

Fabulous day exploring the Black Mountains in the Brecon Beacons with Huw. Did more in one day than we could ever do alone without knowledge of the area. From flowing trails to technical tracks, Huw adjusted the ride to suit our skill level and fitness. Pushed us just enough and made it informative and fun. Thanks Huw! Well worth the trip from Oz :-)

Had a great day yesterday with Huw. My confidence on the bike has certainly improved. Just a few tips can make all the difference. The family are all different levels of bravery and ability but all had a fabulous day and were shattered at the end . Highly recommended.

I have always used Huw at Treads and Trails to service my skis. I have found the service given second to none.Hue is always professional and polite. His knowledge of ski set up is very good and his prices are very reasonable and realistic . The turn around is very quickalso. I have complete and utter confidence in the service provided. Using Huw prior to travelling also frees up time when in the resort ( it mean I can get on the Apres a lot sooner!!)So my advice is give Huw a go, you won’t be disappointed.

We (my husband and I) booked an afternoon guided MTB ride with Huw whilst on a biking holiday in Wales back in September. We would highly recommend to anyone going biking in the area. The route Huw chose was well pitched at our fitness and ability levels, with some great tips given enroute along with information on the surrounding areas.We would definitely book to ride with Huw again when we revisit the area

Fabulous afternoon mountain biking. We chose the e bikes which were amazing and allowed us to tackle terrain we couldn’t have achieved with our own peddle power. Hugh our guide was exceptional both in knowledge of the area and in particular his support. We started the day as novice mountain bikers and with his cajoling and challenge finished our route on a downhill track which at the beginning of the day we would have thought completely out of our reach. Highly recommend

We went on a hike with Treads and Trails this weekend. Huw was our leader and we had a fantastic time!Communicating logistics with him before hand was effortless and he replied quickly and gave lots of information on what we could expect of the day. He led us on a 25km hike through Llanthony Priory. We made really good time and even stopped for fun facts about the area on our way. Huw was obviously very knowledgable and experienced. We felt in safe hands and can't wait for another trek with him.Thanks Huw!

My husband and I just did a bike packing trip through Wales and Huw's maps, help and knowledge of the area was invaluable. Our bike rentals were in great shape and saved us huge headaches coming from the US! We highly recommend Huw as a resource if you're planning a trip on bike or foot. Bonus--he was always so prompt in replying to our emails!
