Craigvinean Forest
A very under appreciated and magnificent forest, teeming with rare species of flora and fauna. On par with the beauty and presence of the Ancient Caledonian pine forests of the Cairngorms. One of the greatest forests within the UK by far spanning this lovely area of the Tayvalley and towards Blair Atholl.

One of the most beautiful forests in the UK. Includes The NTS site The Hermitage as well as extensive walks up to Pine Cone Point. Definitely worth a visit with a camera.

Excellent place for a walk near the Hermitage recommend going to the Pine Cone Viewpoint for the best views in the area
