Loving Welsh Food

I had a wonderful time in Cardiff! I highly recommend the tour. Sian was beyond lovely, and my friends and I got the chance to both admire the city and taste traditional Welsh food. A truly worthy option if you're visiting Wales.

Sian is a fantastic ambassador of Cardiff's top food and drink spots as well as local history. My husband and I visited the beautiful Welsh city on April 29, 2023 and were lucky enough to book this tour. We were introduced to several delectable, local traditional foods and a Welsh take on some international cuisine. Sian also took time to highlight key historical sites in the city center. This tour is great for locals who wish to visit locations that they may not have otherwise and for visitors new to Cardiff who have only a half day or so to get a flavor of Wales.Finally, I want to recognize our tour mates, mostly from Wales, who were incredibly fun and welcoming. It was a pleasure meeting you. Cwtches to all!!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour while we were in Cardiff. If you can, take it at the beginning of your visit so that you can go back to eat more of your favorite Welsh cakes, pizza, potato and cheese croquettes, meat pies, or bara brith. Sian is such a personable tour guide. She makes a four-hour tour fly by!

My wife and I had the distinct pleasure of taking the Cardiff Lunch and Landmarks tour. Our guide Sian was truly a joy! Her knowledge of the city and of Welsh foods made the time pass far too quickly. From our first taste of a Welsh cake, to the various city markets, a wonderful lunch on Cardiff Bay and ending with the enjoyable bakestones, everything was so delicious.If you're near Cardiff and would like to learn about the Welsh people and their wonderful foods, this is the tour for you.

A very interesting, cosmopolitan walking tour of the centre of Cardiff, sampling 7 different international foods from Portuguese custard tarts to Indian street food. We also learnt a great deal about the great city of Cardiff along the way from a great Cardiff born guide. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely wonderful time with Siân on our private Loving Welsh Food Tour. We were a little apprehensive about bringing our 8-year old as, despite her love of eating, we thought she may get bored, but Siân was so good with her! We had great food and drink: alcoholic and non-alcoholic cider and a 'bangin lush' (sweetie) drumstick-cocktail. We also learnt so much about the area: the history, the culture and the language! My only regret is that we did not book this for our first day in Cardiff, as that would have allowed us to re-visit some of the amazing places Siân introduced us to and told also told us about. Thank you again Siân!

Me and my wife did the Cosmopolitan food tour in Cardiff on Friday 12th August. Ieuan was our guide, and there was one other couple on the tour. We both had a great time, and Ieuan was an excellent guide. We stopped off at 7 different places in total, and the food was fantastic at all of them!Overall I would highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed!

My fiancé and I had the pleasure of Sian’s Welsh food tasting tour on Saturday. We loved every minute from beginning to end and felt like we got the benefit of a cultural, food and historical tour all in one! We would have never had the privilege of trying out the amazing foods she introduced us to without her local knowledge and we found the order of the tour and food options to be really exciting and interesting. I would say this is a must-do tourist activity in Wales - Sian went above and beyond and she is a lovely person too!
