What a little gem! Food was absolutely delicious, Speedy and friendly service, Claire was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Absolutely impeccable!

Came in on bank holiday Monday, awful place, avoid at al costs. We both had avo and egg on toast with halloumi, it was a dry piece of toast with chopped avocado, overcooked poached egg and oily fried halloumi, no flavour or effort in the slightest. I wouldn’t mind if it was priced as a basic meal, but at £11 each portion it’s a joke. The place was chaotic, no one seemingly in charge, just people doing stuff. It’s a shame as the place looks great, such wasted potential

Exception Full English breakfast with generous serving. Coffee was tastey. Would easily be with the top 5 breakfasts eaten with my lifetime. There was a nice community atmosphere and a nice mix of friendly and attentive staff. Had a 3 year with us and there were games and colouring available. A lot of local cafes were closed on a Monday, whereas Jack Rabbits was alive and kicking. Would come here again and fully recommend. Thank you for a wonderful brunch.

I visited this little café on my birthday with a friend and was super disappointed to find they were no longer serving hot food when we came in around 3pm. The food everyone else was eating looked amazing! We opted for tea and cake instead which was really nice, but watching other people get their plates of hot food around us was upsetting. I've no idea if they normally stop serving food at 3pm but there were no signs outside to say that.

We have visited Jack Rabbits in Ashbourne fairly regularly over the years, mainly for a brunch when in town shopping.I have previously scored Jack Rabbits a 5 but following recent visits I need to change that too a 3 stars.Quality of ingredients and standards of service have dropped, we both had Full English breakfasts and the bacon was fatty, sausages tasteless and the eggs snotty. With an increasing amount of new places opening in Ashbourne Jack Rabbits need to raise its game to where it was about 2 years ago.

Lovely atmosphere and delicious food. Amazing coffee and friendly staff. The cheese scone with salmon was simply delightful. Would definitely recommend it and come back.

The venue is lovely and is dog friendly, the service was good and efficient, however the food was a big disappointment. I had avocado on toast but the toast was so thin and dry like cardboard. The avocado tasted like it was spread from a tub rather than fresh, the portion size was disappointing too. The hot chocolate was delicious but overall a bit underwhelming.

It was underwhelming. Should be better for the price you're paying.Visited on a Sunday afternoon, and it was not too busy. It was easy to find a table. The service was very slow (15 minutes for coffee + orange juice, 30 minutes for the food). I ordered a curry/ Dahl dish which came out cold. I had to take it back and ask for them to warm it up. The dish was pretty bland. We also ordered the vegan breakfast which was pretty simplistic - couple of vegan sausages, 1 mushroom, half a tomato, hash brown, beans and two slices of very dry toast - would it be so hard to add some vegan spread and maybe some spinach? Try a bit harder! For around £10 per dish, I was expecting better. Its just a shame - they have such a nice location but the food is below average. Edible food but don't expect to be blown away.

Our Sunday breakfast at Jack Rabbits in Ashbourne was very nice. My daughter loved her pancakes and the breakfast roll with bacon, sausage and fried egg was great too. Nice interior decor. Prices maybe a little above average but still worth it.
