Absolutely amazing restaurant with exceptionally delicious food. The staff were attentive and friendly and the food was so fresh and cooked to perfection. Would absolutely recommend and would visit again if I was ever in the area.

We were staying nearby for a few days and booked a table for dinner on the basis of the good reviews.I'm glad to say that our experience was similar to many others. It was excellent and we ended up going back the following day to try more of the menu!The food was extremely tasty, carefully prepared and service was friendly, helpful and professional.The atmosphere was quite cosy and intimate, yet relaxed. Good for couples, families and small groups. And it's dog friendly.Definitely a place to go and relax and enjoy your meal.A good selection of sensibly priced wines and what looked like a very nice courtyard garden (although we didn't explore it) all added to the experience.Certainly one of the best restaurants in the area.

The place is lovely and cosy. Claire was very welcoming. The food was exquisite. My partner had a starter (chicken liver parfait) which he really enjoyed, he said it was the best he’d ever tasted. I recommend the Filet of beef, it was cooked as requested to perfection. There was abit of a wait but it was really busy so that couldn’t be helped. As it had been my birthday, they wrote on my dessert plate in chocolate wishing a happy birthday. A lovely touch after a spectacular meal!I think some music would have created a better atmosphere.

Absolutely superb dining experience. Thank you to Donna, Clare et al, for making my 50th birthday so very special. Scallops to start, the Lamb for my main and a treacle tartlette for dessert with an additional birthday surprise. They accommodated my daughter's special requirements and indulged me one of mine. This is something I'll not forget in a hurry, if ever. The staff go above and beyond with the bonus addition of three gorgeous spaniels who were super well-behaved. Highly recommended gold star!

This was a fantastic experience the food was outstanding and the welcome and service was second to none I booked it for my wife Lisa's 50th birthday. Clare welcomed us by name and had dressed our table with rose petals. It was all very special Would recommend it without hesitation

Beautiful place. The whole experience was excellent. I am gluten free the chef totally accommodated me and adapted the menu for me. Instead of just eliminating the food I could not eat they made me it gluten free, even had a mince pie with my coffee. Thank you Justin and Claire

An absolutely wonderful place. In terms of the food, the wine, the service and the atmosphere, this is one of the best restaurants in England. I’ve had the tremendous good fortune to dine in Buckingham Palace, 10 Downing Street and the House of Lords (no reflection on me, it went with the job) but I’d genuinely choose Reeves over all of them.
