Went in for a private session and was really nervous.When I arrived they made me feel super comfortable and relaxed. I had such a great session and felt really looked after and cared for.Highly clean, respectable, safe, incredibly healthy and fun.Highly recommend One Jiu-Jitsu

One Jiu-Jitsu offers an excellent facility for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, with a Gi and No-Gi timetable. The school is bright, clean and well maintained.I attended the school as a guest whilst visiting Brighton for a weekend break. In the first instance, communication regarding attendance was clear and the tone was warm and welcoming. Coach Ivam is a humble host and he and his students ensured that I felt at home during the class. Coach is a master of his craft and the structure of the training was a great mix for a broad range of ability (white to black belt). I would highly recommend One Jiu-Jitsu to anybody travelling to the Brighton and Hove area as a home from home for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Obrigado, Coach - see you next time.

One Jiu-Jitsu is simply amazing, I Started training here in January 2019 and wish I started sooner. Every lesson is a phenomenal experience, learning such an awesome art. Coach Ivam is an all time great, his knowledge and teaching is superb. Friendly and welcoming its the best training academy on the south coast. If you want to test your fitness to its limits and better yourself I would highly recommend you come and give it a try, you won’t regret it.

This place is brilliant!If you want to learn BJJ in a great environment, with the best guidance, then this place is the one of you.Ivam and his team are extremely knowledgeable and have such a passion for the art, yet they teach with clarity and patience - this sort of environment can only foster development in your training.The facilities are brilliant, extremely practical and clean, as well as being aesthetically pleasing. Feels like a very cool place to train!Also, due to the welcoming atmospherethat Ivam has created, everyone I've met so far has been extremely friendly and patient, which makes being a beginner that much better. You can tell everyone loves BJJ so wants to share their knowledge and encourage others. There is very little ego, it feels like everyone shares in each others successes.What a place!Thanks Ivam!

Both my daughter and I have been training with Ivam at One Jiu Jitsu for about half a year now and I love the transformation we’ve both had.My daughter who’s 6 has become a lot more confident since joining the club and can’t wait to go back every time she finishes. Even though she’s naturally quite strong and flexible, I can see improvements in both areas.But for Ivam, it’s not just all about physical strength. He teaches them respect, responsibility and patience and puts a lot of focus on those key areas of personal development.For me personally, I’ve tried lots of different sports but never felt quite at home and moved on fairly soon. With BJJ it’s the complete opposite. I’ve loved my journey and am impressed by the amount of progress I’ve made in such a short time. While for me it’s mostly about fitness, I’m not complaining about also having made a bunch of new friends. Having just moved to the area it was amazing being welcomed with open arms by existing members.I can genuinely recommend One Jiu Jitsu to anyone - there’s a bunch of different people training with Ivam and whether you want to train fitness, self confidence or be able to defend yourself, One Jiu Jitsu is the best place to do so.

Ivan is welcoming, relaxed and professional. His academy is clean and well organised. He clearly cares greatly about his business and his love and dedication to BJJ is evident. If you are a seasoned veteran or want to give something new a go, One Jiu-Jitsu is the place for you.

As a newly graduated blue belt arriving in the UK pre 2020 lockdown, and only managing a few months of rolling prior to moving to Shoreham, I'd battled to get back into this awesome sport, until I came across One Jiu-Jitsu! Sadly as a family, we are relocating and I just wanted to pay my respectsIvam and your team, you have an awesome and super-friendly dojo, great members that create such an incredible culture and give you that 'homely' feeling. Start my jujitsu journey in Dec 2022 and I have to say I’ve enjoyed every minute here. All the members are so welcoming and what I love is there no egos. Everyone is here to learn and gain knowledge from the brilliant coaches here. They make every session a challenge and enjoyable. I’d recommend to anyone who wants to get fit, learn a great martial art and make new friends.

5 stars seems too little for what this place did for us!My 5 year old son was struggling in school and some bullying and his confidence was so low.I honestly didn't know if I'd ever get my little bright, happy confidant boy again.When I found this place I was just happy he wanted to meet other kids and engage in anything tbh.Wow!First of all, the group of kids that attend these classes are phenomenal! They range in age (5-11 I believe) and are extremely welcoming , helpful and nurturing.The coach (Ivam) is super attentive, and sensitive to each of their needs and level of experience ( zero in our case) .He was encouraging and my boy really looks up to him.We've only been there for a couple of months and my son is BACK!He is resilient, confidant, happy and excited to go every week.Hands down the best decision I've ever made.

This is a great dojo. People are friendly and the coach has vast experience in teaching BJJ, besides being very committed. If you have never practiced Jiu-Jitsu, don't hesitate to give it a try. It is a great sport for physical fitness and conditioning. This club also offers the benefit of having a few locations around.
