Mable's Paint Pots

We had such a nice time at Mables, definitely fun for all ages. Jane (the owner) creates a lovely atmosphere, is very helpful, and the sweet shop is adorable with so much to choose from! A must visit in Burnham Market.

Mabel's brings back so many memories of going to my local sweet shop when I was younger. The owner Jane has such a friendly, bubbly personality and makes you feel so welcome whenever we visit. We have also had many lovely experiences painting pots upstairs. A destination no one should miss when coming to Norfolk.

A magical, inspiring experience, whether it's choosing from the sweetie shop or painting pots in the upstairs craft room. The owner (Jane) made us so welcome and everything was beautifully presented and absolutely spotless. If you can't wait for it to be fired they will post it to you. Fabulous service!

We love Mabels! We live just outside London and head to Burnham Market probably 3 times a year and our first stop is always to see Jane. My two sons (and us parents) love it, from the massive range of sweets, the incredibly warm welcome, old fashioned till and flower arrangement around the door… it’s a wonderful experience every time. We tried the pottery painting for the first time last week and although I shouldn’t have been, I was surprised with the level of organisation and ease in which we could just walk upstairs and crack on. The boys loved it and the dog is now enjoying her newly decorated dog bowl. This is not an ad, neither have we been asked to post but Mabels / Jane are a very large reason why we come and visit as often as we do.

What a lovely place to stop and buy your sweets in a very nice cottage sweet shop with a friendly owner that served us ! It would be such a shame to see it closed and maybe turned into a 2nd home or holiday let as Burnham market has enough of those and needs it only sweet shop in the area!

Incredible. 2 children turned away because the shop decided to close early today. I asked, “seriously, you’re a sweet shop, you are there, it is during your opening times and you’re not going to let the children buy any sweets?” They said “sorry, we decided to close early today”. I don’t know how these places are in business

Didn't visit for the pottery. 10 year old wanted the sweet shop bit.Really friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended
