Notting Hill Cat Company

The Notting Hill Cat Company is fantastic, I can not recommend it more highly. Dominique is incredibly professional and responsive, she clearly has a deep love for cats and take pride in understanding the needs of each cat and it’s unique personality traits. The process is seamless and they are comfortingly detailed in gathering information on feeding habits, preferred toys and any idiosyncrasies. Mr Pickles, our beloved Bengal boarded with Christiana (and George) and they welcomed both me and Pickles into their home. Christiana clearly adores cats, she was so attentive to him, patient whilst he adjusted to his new surroundings, dedicated what appeared to be countless hours playing with him (as a Bengal he does require being entertained). Pickles was so happy with her, she sent regular videos and photos so I was constantly updated and never worried about him. Christiana is a very gentle, kind and special person and your cat would be lucky to board with her and George.

We boarded whisky (our cat, a 2y old bengal) with them once back in 2020 and had used their cat sitting service twice recently. Dominique and this company is just great. Whisky is an outdoor cat, although usually sweet, can be quite demanding when kept indoor and doesn't trust strangers. Dominique took great care of him while we were away and made a real effort to actually build a connection with him. Whisky became really happy and relaxed with her and it was really touching to witness this process.Something completely unrelated: a couple months ago, whisky wandered away from home and disappeared for 4 days. Dominique was very, very supportive at a time of distress. She gave us a lot of useful tips on finding the cat, notified her clients to look out for him, and even put flyers out on our behalf... We were so grateful. (and in the end, whisky returned!)If you are in the neighbourhood, you love your cat and you got to be away, this is it. Look no further.

Dominique is just the most amazing find. I don’t know what we would do without her. Our Pixie Bob struts out of his cat box when he gets to her house and seems to enjoy being with her more than his own family! She has a dedicated enclosed balcony just for the cats, steps to the ceiling for them to jump and play, and not a day goes by without her sending pictures of her cuddling and fussing over our big chunky boy.Leaving a cat with Dominique is as good as being at home yourself.

We are so glad that we found Notting Hill Cat Company! Dominique is an absolute pleasure to deal with and Emma and Sarah could not take better care of our cat when we are away. They treat her like she's their own and go out of their way to make sure she is happy and comfortable in their home. They also send us lots of photo and video updates without us having to ask. Before we found Emma and Sarah, Catniss never loved going to stay with a cat sitter, but with them she's immediately at ease and loves her holidays". I would not hesitate for one single minute to recommend Dominique and Nottinghill Cat Sitter services as a caring and vigilant cat sitter/company. We have been thoroughly pleased with Dominique’s handling of Mogg over the last two years or more. Dominique is always courteous, trustworthy and reliable each time we engage her help, but more importantly, our fairly grumpy 13 YO cat ‘gets on’ (that’s high praise) with her during our absence.Mogg had an accident a couple of years ago and her spinal cord was severely damaged in parts. After a few weeks in the Royal Vet College she came home to us, but now finds walking and jumping more of a challenge than an fully able cat (although she doesn’t let this keep her from mischief). She is also incredibly skittish/anxious/nervous and hates loud noises; she very much prefers everything to be ‘just so’ based around her own tolerance and comfort levels .It’s so nice to be able to trust someone (as we do Dominique) with her; Dominique respects Mogg’s limitations and adapts her style to what Mogg likes, so that every visit is really calm and gentle. You can just see in the pictures and videos that Mogg is settled and happy in her own environment with no stress or anxiety during the sittings. Dominique sends lots of videos and pictures which we love and is always a very nice person to communicate and work with. We couldn’t be happier with her truly, and the added bonus is that our home gets a bit of a check in too whilst we are away!

Dominique is absolutely amazing. She thinks of everything from her enclosed balcony with cat-safe plants to beds, toys and scratching posts galore! My three cats stayed with her for over a week, and she sent photo, video and text updates almost every day, which was a lot of fun. Dominique took care of their medications and diets perfectly - I felt great knowing she was looking after them. The best part was how all three were so relaxed and happy when we picked them up. I think they probably can't wait to stay at her cat resort again soon!

We couldn't be happier with NHCC. From the outset Dominique was a pleasure to speak with and she efficiently set up our meeting with the amazing Yasmine, who would be our cat sitter. We had an introductory session with Yasmine and instantly knew she was the right person to look after our cats. We were very nervous about leaving them for the first time but Yasmine put us completely at ease - asking all the right questions (NHCC also have a very professional detailed form which Yasmine had closely read, so you know all the right information is stored and communicated) and demonstrating her evident love for all animals; especially cats. We felt completely safe trusting her with our keys and before going away both Dominique and Yasmine were extremely responsive to the couple of further questions we had.Since we've been away Yasmine has been absolutely amazing. She sends updates every time she visits, including photos and videos, and our cats plainly adore her - and she them. She has also gone above and beyond just the cat sitting and has flagged and helped fix other house related issues (including speakers being turned on (by the cats), external gates being left open etc.) and is also an excellent photographer. We have felt entirely relaxed on holiday thanks to Yasmine and have already requested she come again for our next trip. Thank you Yasmine and Dominique!

Stephanie is an absolute delight, our fluffbutt Bear is expertly cared for, with extra cuddles, whenever we are away. The daily updates with photos are a highlight of our days away. Stephanie really goes the extra mile to ensure Bear is not only fed and watered but also that her trays are clean, she has her favourite toys nearby and she gets some playtime and cuddles everyday. We are so grateful to the Notting Hill Cat Company, we highly recommend their excellent cat sitting service.

I am forever grateful to NHCC for taking such amazing care of my furbaby, Mr Tunnels.I received news of a family emergency and had to fly home. Dominique was so helpful and got everything in order for me.Leaving your cat in a new environment is stressful enough but it was even worse as Tunnels had just moved to London a couple months prior and after being on a 13hour flight in cargo, he was easily scared.I knew Tunnels was in good hands from all NHCC’s glowing reviews but I was shocked at how fast Tunnels felt right at home with Anca and Alex. It only took 2 days and he was showing them his cheeky personality. Anca was amazing and kept me updated with photos and videos every day during those 3 weeks. Seeing him so happy and playful, I didn’t need to worry about him as much. Anca very kindly sent me the links to the toys Tunnels enjoyed playing with. She even gifted me a pair of beautiful candles. When my husband picked Tunnels up and he was crying in his carrier, Anca teared up and it speaks volumes that she doesn’t just take care of your furbaby because she’s providing a service. She genuinely loves your furbaby as her own.

Highly recommend Dominique and the NHCC! Dominique took amazing care of our pet while we were away - she clearly has a great touch with cats, and was organised and a real pleasure to communicate with. Would not hesitate to recommend and use her services again!
