Pets at Home Uxbridge

Very modern Pets at home, with a good selection of products. Only thing I dislike is the constant sales pitch for a Pets at home membership. My wife has had a membership for years and has never seen any benefit from having one. All we seem to get is junk mail in the post from them.

It's a smaller store than the ones I normally attend but It was very busy with a nice selection. The customer service is hit and miss, but that could be due to how busy the environment is.

Very friendly staff and good selection of products. Stock levels also very good. The puppy playtime is a welcome addition to our local Pets at Home seeing as we got a puppy recently. It has really helped with socialisation and we have noticed a difference in our puppy after only a couple of sessions. Our puppy is also a regular visitor to the Groom Room as well which is great value and the staff again are wonderful with the dogs.

Brought 3 fish from there about 3 weeks ago. After one day we found one dead, today we found the last remaining two dead. Absolutely no reason for it. We know how to care for fish properly ( we have had fish survive for 4+ years) I do not recommend buying fish from pets at home and I will not be returning again £45 roughly down the drain.

Terrible customer service at the counter as they left me standing there for at least 10mins whilst there were two staff and both were talking to another customer about flea treatment when at least one of them could have attended to me so that I can pay for my items rather than just leaving me there waiting. After they were done talking to the customer, they started talking to each other for at least 4mins. Me and my wife were the only ones in the queue just standing there waiting for them to stop talking to each other. I had to ask them to serve me. Neither of them had the courtesy to even apologise afterwards. I find this behaviour unacceptable and completely rude. Not sure whether this was racially motivated as we are both Asians! Very upsetting to see this sort of behaviour considering it is our purchases that pays for their wages! This occurred on Saturday 16th Sept 2023 just past 6pm.

My experience with cowley pets at home have been amazing staff very helpful and very supportive when it comes to animals needs , both my dogs sensitive stomach pets at home foods been nothing but a great help for my boys.

My German Shepherd had impacted Anal Glands. Went into Yiewsley branch and a very knowledgeable and helpful lady called Julie helped with the problem. My dog was literally eating away on his tail,Julie told me about the Buddy and Lola chews,and within 24hrs he was all better. So very happy and a lovely friendly lady,Thank you Julie

I can't express enough how amazing the staff are in this branch. So helpful and friendly and make our pooch Goldie feel like royalty. We love going there with her and she definitely loves all the attention she gets. Thank you all for everything you do!!

Julie at the Uxbridge branch ran a Paw Patrol workshop this week. She was drafted in last minute I understand. She was amazing. So encouraging with all the children, so gentle and knowledgeable with the animals and really passionate in everything she did.
