Loch Ness Hub & Travel

Our group used this service to transport our luggage along the Great Glen Way and it was phenomenal. The bags were always delivered in great condition. One of our members had issues with his luggage falling apart (NOT because of Loch Ness), Loch Ness helped transport his damaged bag along with a loaner bag from a bed and breakfast along the route and made sure all got to where they needed to be at the end of the trip. They helped provide some additional transport to us with absolutely no hassle. It was also obvious that this group takes great care in their service and are extremely polite and make you feel very welcome. I can't recommend them enough!

We used Loch Ness Travel to transfer our luggage as we hiked the Great Glen Way. They were terrific. Especially Russel, the gentleman that drove us the last day. As we were leaving the vehicle we realized we were missing some valuables. He stayed with us, kept us calm and called all the places we had been to the day before trying to locate the lost items. He spent at least a half an hour of his own time helping us out and even followed up later in the day. We would highly recommend this service and would definitely use them again.

Outstanding, truthworthy community-based and community minded service. Russell and the team not only helped me over email with the planning of our (selforganized) Great Glen Way walk (by providing information ahead of time before we left Canada) but then took care of all the luggage transfers (very safely and efficiently in what I later saw were their very clean vans between Fort William and Inverness). They also provided us with a pre-planned taxi service from their Hub in Drum to our (lovely) hotel which was a number of Km out of town. The pre-planned transfers up to Abraichan forest for two of our walks also worked out perfectly.This is an extremely competent, professional, kind team you can trust. The price was fair for everything we received. I would use them again without any hesitancy. Thanks Russell and team for making it all so easy with just a bit of planning!

We had an amazing experience with Iain and his Highland Coo tour! His Croft is gorgeous with views overlooking Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. Hearing about his family farm and heritage was lovely and it was so fun getting up close with the cows and hearing all about them. Highly recommend this experience when you’re visiting!

We did the Highland Coo tour and had the best time. Talking with Ian about the cattle was so informative, we learned so much and had fun petting Fiona. I highly recommend taking this tour. It is very small group (4 or less) so there are no crowds. So many generations of farming on this land. Definitely was the highlight of our Loch Ness trip

We recently hiked the Great Glen Way and Loch Ness Travel was our baggage service. When we got to Drumnadrochit, tired and with blisters, we arranged with the service for a ride out to see Urqhart Castle. Russell picked us up at our B&B, drove us to the castle, and retrieved us when we wanted to get back to town. It was late in the day, but he was incredibly accommodating. He even gave us tips on his favorite whisky that we could get at Fiddler’s Restaurant (also recommended) and he did not lead us astray. Thanks to the team for taking good care of us and our baggage and making this a trip we will remember for a lifetime.

Russell did a wonderful job delivering our baggage to our destinations along the Great Glen Way, and provided rides to our accommodation and trailhead for our walk. Amazing baggage service. Myself and my walking buddies used these guys a couple of weeks ago when we were hiking the Great Glen Way. It was hassle free, friendly and we had no issues at all. We left our bags at each accommodation as we left each morning and they were there waiting at the next stop a few hours later. We were even gifted chocolate bars on our last day, such a kind gesture.I would highly recommend using these guys to anyone who is planning the hike.

Went on the Hairy Coo tour. Excellent little trip. Actually made our day to be able to get up close and feed the cows. When we went there was a new calf who had only been born earlier in the day, beautiful. Stunning views of Loch Ness. Farmer was great and had been there for 7 generations! Well worth a visit.

Just finished the Great Glen Way and am so grateful to Loch Ness Hub and Travel for all their safe handling and care of our luggage. Had the most amazing holiday, miles of pure joy walking with our day packs whilst our luggage ¹magically arrived at each b and b. Can't thank you enough for being so professional and caring.
