I have just been quoted nearly £12,000 to replace 5 windows in my home. Eye watering prices!Thank heavens I read the reviews.I had my last windows installed by a local company over 25 years ago and they lasted well.I will be getting more quotes and, having read their reviews, looks like I may have dogged a bullet!

I purchased a front door a couple of months ago, I was so excited for it to be fitted and they have totally messed it up, the door handle style is wrong and not to mention a totally different colour to the letter box and door knocker . When telling them they hve made a mistake they told me it was a mixup that my door handle was delivered some here else. Then I get a call from the guy who did the survey to say that it was his fault and now I hve to wait for the door handle to be re ordered and then wait to have it re fitted.I’m extremely unhappy with the customer service and the door.

Steer clear of them. Badly and poorly installed windows, not to mention the extremely low quality of the frames and glass panes. We paid for triple glazing acoustic glass: glass not sealed properly so cold and noise coming in. Engineers have no idea how to do their job. One of their engineers even told us that employees know how poor the quality of their windows is, that he himself had a competitors’ windows installed at his own place! Humble suggestion: withhold final payment until the job has been completed and all faults repaired. But if you can, just stay away.

Everest became everest 2020 ltd and ditched all their old customers warranties. They are a shocking company. We had badly installed windows and they wouldn't come and repair them, then they changed name and wouldn’t take our calls. Steer clear of them. They don’t deserve to be in business.

Avoid.Received a quote for uPVC windows and doors (incredibly high price I should add), one of the doors would have replaced a fire door, which as it transpires, wouldn’t have met building regulations.Everest were more than happy to quote me thousands for this door whereas a local supplier not only charged me less on the windows, advised me of the building regulations thus saving me a very costly mistake.Considering their extortionate prices, one would think they would be more aware of relevant legislation.Wheeler dealers

Awful companyAwful company - damaged our property when installing the door, didn't turn up with the right lock and left us with a door that is not secure.We were called the following day by them to ask for final payment, we then explained the issues of missing parts and damage and almost a week later we have not heard back.Very keen to take your money but ignore you when you report an issue.Shoddy work and terrible customer service - DO NOT USE

I had my porch door and windows replaced and the two man team carried out an excellent job. The arrived bang on time, were polite diligent and tidy. All in all I was impressed with their work which was a credit to Everest.

Windows look sturdy but for the money they are asking for, they are providing a shocking service. as previously mentioned, not able to get through with emails. my job is such, that i cannot just answer the phone calls and that was discussed before going ahead. calling them back is shocking. not able to reach anyone. absolutely poor reply to my emails. installation was poor and left job unfinished. they had to come back to finish it but still left a large crack in my wall behind. written a report and nothing has been done about it. very poor care for their customers and negtively surprised. I would recommend a local company instead, as everest is not worth the money they are asking for.

I had Everest uk instal 2 new windows in 2018. I am now having trouble with the handles which have a 10 year guarantee. Oh no they haven’t, that was the old Everest. The new Everest uk with the same logo, management, and trading off their old name will not honour the old Everest guarentee. The new company offer the same guarantees , from 10 years to lifetime. Don’t trust them. It is not worth the paper it’s written on.

Atrocious, inadequate service, disguised as a professional windows company through branding and price level. Definitely do not recommend. It has been over 3 months since my first compliant and they are still 'working with me on a resolution' (i.e. wasting my time, putting hurdles in place for me to jump over and generally avoiding accepting responsibility!)
