The most wonderful evening. The food and service was beyond impeccable. We were so impressed by all the lovely staff we met and who were kind enough to let us have a look around the kitchen. Thank you all, thank you chefs for making it such a special evening for us. We will certainly be back again soon.

I was so excited for this visit (having only been to a restaurant with more than one Michelin star once before but it being possibly the best overall restaurant experience I've ever had) but wound up a bit disappointed and questioning the Michelin guide after having several disappointing one (and now two/three after this vacation) star experiences over the last year. There is no doubt the food is good and it's elegantly presented and the meat is impeccably cooked. But nothing I tasted felt new" or made me "wow

Wonderful food served in luxury and with great attention to detail. This is a very high class restaurant in the Connaught hotel. It has its own kitchens and staff so doesn't feel like it is inside a large hotel. The menu is fixed at 5 or 7 course with extras for certain dishes and changes available to suit allergies or needs. There are plenty of staff, all of whom were efficient and friendly, willing and able to answer any questions about the food or the wine. They were able to give recommendations and explain the various dishes. They were also friendly enough to talk about other things. We had an interesting conversation with one about her home town, Pisa.We were invited to look at the kitchens. Always a treat to see how the staff in a high quality kitchen work. They are always so calm and organised, unlike the TV portrayals. We left feeling very full even though the meal had been spread across three and a half hours. Certainly worth the visit but not something I could do every night.

Came for my birthday last year with friends and the food was particularly awful. The ambience was nice, overall it was exceptionally expensive and the food was terrible! The only thing I can praise is that the photos are quite exquisite. I'll be honest, London Michelin can't really be compared to Paris.

Last min. booking. They were very nice to try help me out even thru email only. Very quick respond to get u welcomed. Impressed. I asked the other 4 3 stars and they either don’t reply or not willing. To me, 3 stars but u still need to entertain people even u don’t care if they come or pay for it. So that’s a credit to themAtmosphere is great. Not grand but pretty neat and nice place. Comfortable and warmStaff as all smile and welcome u as a guest.Minor mistake on ordering but fixed.Food quality exceptional and high quality.I had 7 course pair with Champagne pairingPrice is ok on the courseU need pay more for food like Wagu Beef or the wine pairing which I didn’t read thru which at last surprised meHowever the Champage that they provide are high quality brand and year so u can say it worth that money in that hote or areaU Will definitely get enough food on those portionI love this place and the nearby area. Great place to comeI come for Lunch and already fully bookedThank you their staff to hold for me even I can’t get the secure booking thruDinner are always fullSo pre book to don’t hesitate to call and ask

The place that keeps me coming back to London every year: Indulging in the culinary delights of this Helene Durroze in London was an exquisite experience. Every detail, from the ambiance to the impeccable service, radiated perfection. The pièce de résistance was the white truffle tasting course, a sublime touch that elevated the entire dining journey to unparalleled heights. A gastronomic masterpiece worth savoring.

Every plate that came out had me saying 'yuuuum' with every bite. That doughnut canape to start was amazing! There was maybe one plate (John dory) that maybe needs a bit more work, I wasn't a huge fan but overall everything was very well executed. They were accommodating to my dietary requirements and amended the menu accordingly with no hesitation and we got a tour of the kitchens and met the chefs. There were a few little extra surprise dishes to celebrate our anniversary which was a nice touch, we left feeling extremely full.Yes the food is not new, challenging or reinventing the wheel but there's other restaurants/chefs for that kind of thing. You know what you're in for if you go here, the food is absolutely delicious, staff are friendly, not pretentious, overall better than our experience at Gordon Ramsay (sorry Gordon!)
