Married To My Camera

We were really fortunate that David was available to be our Wedding photographer. He is incredibly talented, very professional and an all round lovely guy to work with. We can't stop looking at our photos, he did such a great job capturing the important moments and the in-between bits that could have easily been missed and mean so much. We are so pleased with the quality of the photos and his use of light and composition is wonderful.I would definitely recommend if you are considering David for your wedding, you won't be disappointed! We had a great experience with David as the photographer for our wedding. We did an engagement shoot with him before the wedding as well, and on both occasions he was lovely and professional, making us feel at ease even though neither of us are used to having our pictures taken.The photos he took are amazing, they look great and he really captured the spirit of the celebration. Our guests also commented on how good he was because they hardly noticed he was there and he managed to take lovely natural photos.We highly recommend David if you're looking for a reliable and talented photographer for your special day!

We were blown away when we received our own photos!Communication was brilliant in the run up to the wedding, and he was an absolute pleasure to be with on the day - at some points we didn't even notice he had been taking photos! David is AMAZING!!!! We were so lucky to have David as our photographer. He is incredibly talented; we absolutely love the photos he created for us – literally cannot stop looking at them. He captured the sheer joy and love at our wedding and created great memories for us to treasure. Everyone has complimented us on how lovely the photos are. He is a brilliant documentary photographer; we barely noticed him taking photos on the wedding day, which meant that he could take photos of us enjoying the day rather than us being set up for posing all day which was exactly what we wanted. And the group and portrait photos he did take were amazing too, didn’t feel uncomfortable, felt natural and they didn’t take too long so we really could just enjoy our wedding.Not only is his photography great but he is an absolutely lovely man too. From the very start David stood out to us with a personalised video message after we got in contact, which was very touching. I loved David's style of photography from the offset. He somehow manages to tell a story with pictures. There were very few posed" shots which is what I wanted and we agreed from the first conversation. . Some of the expressions that he caught are just amazing. We dd a pre-shoot (which I'd strongly recommend if you're a bit camera shy) and during that we really felt at ease.David listened to what we wanted and delivered exactly that - we couldn't be happier with our beautiful wedding photos. We are so pleased we chose David to document our wedding day. He is the consummate professional – always available to us in the months leading up to our Big Day to answer our questions and understand exactly what we wanted from our wedding photos.On the day itself, David was with us for eight hours. He captured beautiful moments from the bridal prep, the wedding car, our ceremony, the drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening party. When planning our wedding, my husband and I were the most concerned about booking a fabulous photographer as, after it's all over, these were going to be the lasting remnants of the day. We were therefore anxiously awaiting the photos from David through.When they arrived, we were absolutely blown-away... the photos were stunning, expertly taken with every single one capturing a moment we will now never forget. The whole day has been captured, both the big moments and the small details, and it was every bit as beautiful as we remember.David took the time before the big day to tour the venue with us which settled our nerves that we wouldn't have many places to shoot if the weather was poor. He picked out some great spots that we then got to use on the day.David was a calming presence and worked well in the background with our videographer - in fact some of the photos were taken at time we didn't even realise David was present for! He was somehow there to capture anything important, and yet never in the way. He also managed to organise many group shots, including one with a rowdy crowd of 25!Thank you David, you have made our wedding picture dreams come true and we can't recommend you enough.

We booked David in 2020 for our 2023 wedding and it was SO worth the wait! We knew the best photos are the moments you’re not aware of the camera and David captured this so perfectly. David was so friendly to work with and always quick to respond to any questions. We were both a bit nervous about being centre of attention for the day and David’s personality and style of photography helped so much. Thank you so so much again for giving us memories of our day.
