Dr. Jim Bond was phenomenal. He went above and beyond to get us a vaccination while we were here on vacation.

The task of getting vaccines before my trip to India had seemed a little arduous and complex but I am glad I stumbled upon TrExMed.I booked an appointment on the really easy to use website only the day before. Dr Jim Bond was excellent - fantastically well informed on what I should get and full of general advice. He really knows what he is talking about in terms of immunology and which animals carry which diseases (apparently bats are one of the main carriers of rabies as it doesn’t actually kill them). I got the jabs on the spot and was in and out in half an hour. The website is also really great for general travel information.Highly recommended and I will definitely use again for future trips.

We went to the TrExMed clinic in Bruntsfield to get travel advice and vaccinations for our trip to Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and South Africa.The central location is easy to find. Dr Jim Bond (doctor/adviser/travel consultant) saw us each time for our vaccinations, and his knowledge of the area meant that we picked up non-medical travel tips and inspiration too! It was nice to have continuity for each visit too.Throughout, the advice was professional, trusted, experienced and pragmatic. We would happily recommend this clinic to friends and family, and will happily return for any future travels that we have.

Professional, efficient and a very good price.I asked for the completion of a medical check for a foreign teacher visa for Taiwan.After having issues with my local gp, Jim Bond was a life saver. I emailed many places and Jim Bond was certainly the cheapest and quickest. I had completed some of the tests necessary for the form with my gp, so the final price was £125. This is compared to other private hospitals and places I rang that wanted to charge me £400 upwards even though I had already finished many of the required tests.Additionally, given that the NHS doesn't cover the costs of this, you would not save money going to your local gp. You will only waste your time and deal with your GP who has less expertise in filling in visa forms.So, all in all, if you have to fill in a medical check for a visa, go here and do not make the same mistake I did.Thanks!

A colleague of mine had a full medical at TrExMed for a China visa and was very impressed with the service. When my GP in South England was at a loss as to what tests to give me for the visa form, I rang TrExMed for advice. Dr Bond was incredibly helpful and answered all my queries. I highly recommend them!

Jim was really professional and helpful. He understood the time pressure I was under to complete my full medical within, and did everything he could to ensure it was done as quickly as possible. Would highly recommend.

After being told literally the night before we were scheduled for our COVID-19 test, TrExMed came to our rescue. Absolutely nowhere in our travel itinerary did it make it clear that there was a difference between a TRAVEL test and a NORMAL test.I phoned these guys at what MUST have been after hours, but they still answered and they still allowed us to arrive first thing in the morning, which has afforded us literally a matter of hours for our results to arrive in tie for us to even get on our flights, whereas the conventional test would have ended up being the wrong test result, with us being informed most likely at the time we turn up for our flights.If I had to recommend anywhere, then I will forever be referrign friends and family in Scotland to make the trip to this clinic.We aren't just travelling - we are actually emigrating to Australia and I genuinely feel that if it wasn't for this chance-find on Google, we'd not be going anywhere as flights are now up to £18,000, thus completely hash our ability to move.I hold these guys in the highest regards.Thanks,Dean & Kelly
