Popped in here on a whim the other day and I'm obsessed! The owner is absolutely lovely (they wound a skein for me, lovely centre pull magic), let me wander about and chat away to them while I was browsing. I'd asked if they stocked any patterns for socks on circular needles because I was very intimidated by DPNs, and they explained how to do basically any DPN sock pattern on circulars, just another reason to support local rather than buying online!They've some absolutely gorgeous yarns and notions, as well as some classes I'd love to check out at some point! I highly recommend a visit to any knitters or crocheters who can get around!

Very nice yarn shop, with great selection and unique accessories. Owner is quite knowledgeable on types of yarn, patterns, and is very wiling to help you out with anything and the classes are lots of fun. Pop in or join a class. You will have a great time.

Great selection of yarn and accessories here. I love that they offer knitting classes because I'm just learning. I also find the staff to very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place.

This is a beautiful yarn shop, with a great selection of yarn, tools and accessories for all your knitting needs. Also nice to see the commitment to providing a space for local yarns to be presented. Customer service was great as well!

Hanks is such a lovely shop! Casey is so helpful! There's a lovely selection of wool and other wool related goodies and some really fun classes too.I've learned how to knit toe up socks and how to crochet hats. Highly recommend popping in for a nose round or ordering from her online store.

I've bought online from hanks yarn parlour twice now and the customer service has been great. The stock they have is beautiful, a lot of unique hand dyed yarn and plenty of accessories - any knitting fiend will spend a lot of money here and not regret a penny!
