Highly recommend Bonnie. Her gentle, positive approach, paired with heaps of knowledge turned our dog Pablo - who was anxious and hated being touched - into a happy, cuddly boy. She explained everything in great detail and we learnt so much, which helped us understand him better and create a relationship with him that is built on trust :)

Bonnie has been such a help to me and my restless young male Vizsla who was becoming reactive. She is so knowledgable, and had so much confidence in every situation, and somehow managed to get inside of my dogs head, helping me to understand him better. Her follow up plan is so comprehensive we’ve got a lot to work on now but we are getting there. I can’t thank her enough not just for her help, but for her encouragement that I’m actually doing okay and not everything wrong! I will always be grateful. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Bonnie has been brilliant in assessing and advising on recent problems with our cat. He had started attacking and biting us frequently. Bonnie advised us of strategies to use to stop this cycle of behaviour and divert his hunting instincts towards his toys and through play. It’s such a relief to have our friendly little boy back.

Bonnie at Pets Explained was tremendous help in changing the behaviour of our french bulldog to manage certain situations. We contacted Bonnie for help with our reactive American bulldog and I have been so impressed and grateful for her calm expertise. Bonnie transformed a really stressful situation into one that I feel that we can manage and has guided us through exactly what we need to do to support our dog. I am particularly impressed by her ability to swiftly interpret what our dog is communicating making it so much easier to know how to respond to her reactivity. Bonnie has been brilliant helping our nervous reactive rescue dog Teddy. Bonnie was able to explain the reasons for his behaviours and has provided practical guidance on how to deal with them. Best of all Ted loved the sessions and was always super excited to see Bonnie!
