I bought a gift for someone which I didn’t end up needing so I went back with it the next day for a refund. I was offered an exchange or credit note only. I know this is policy somewhere but no one mentioned this when I bought it, which would have been considerate. When I questioned this I was advised that under the Sale of Goods act they didn’t have to tell me. Fair enough but surely you could treat your customers with respect and make them aware? No signs or anything. Really bad customer service and treating customers like they are idiots!

I genuinely do not know how this shop stays open. One has to ring a bell to enter the shop, which is odd enough, and wait for a staff member to appear. I feel like I'm making an exchange with the Fae. Regardless of this, it's about what you'd expect for a costumes shop - cheap materials, great for gags. I've always found what I want there, so I can't really complain.

Great selection of costumes, body paints & really helpful staff! Probably largest stock in Dundee. Received 10% discount when i purchased a costume for my daughter. Discount cards are often handed out a the union or main stretch of Murraygate. Recommend to all!

Girlfriend bought a chain from here not expensive but a fair price that was meant to be silver. It was in a range that was well promoted and there were alot of pieces in this collection but it wasn't 925 silver it was poorer quality.....she decided not to return it preferring to never go back..,suppose that's what happens when you buy jewellery from a costume shop!!!
