Toad Patrol Strelley
In early spring toads move from the surrounding fields and woods to their breeding ponds. This can mean crossing roads, many can get run over as motorists are unaware of them. Toad Patrols help to identify these sites, get signs put out and run Toad Patrols, collecting toads and other amphibians off the road and moving them back to safety, helping them on their way to their breeding pond.
