Glenmore House

We got married here July 2022 - such a great venue, all our guests loved it, from The Ballroom with its glamous decor and sprung dance floor and the seperate cosier bar area. Having the ceremony in the same building saved us and our guests alot of running around. Close to amenities, station and large car park all great assets. Above all this the staff were all great, super friendly and organised, especially Faye who helped us planning it every step if the way, and even sent us Congratulations from her own honeymoon. Thank you to all the Team at Glenmore House - our Wedding Day could not have been more perfect

Held our wedding here a few weeks ago and it was the best decision we ever made. Stunning rooms, chilled out atmosphere and great food and drink, meant we and our guests had a great time. Many thanks to Faye for all your help and advice. xx

We had our wedding at Glenmore house in October 2021, which was postponed from 2020. Faye was great throughout the whole process, from initial booking and rescheduling! They were very accommodating and flexible with any requests and ideas we had, and the food was fantastic! The day itself ran smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Cost wise Glenmore is excellent value for money, the serving and bar staff were excellent, as was the recommended DJ. Our guests were impressed with the food, staff and venue, and I will absolutely be recommending Glenmore House to engaged friends, and will definitely be back for our next event!(Photos: Rachel Davies Photography)

Had our wedding there recently and it was just amazing. Everything went well, the food was mentioned loads by our guests and the lead up to the day was handled so well. Nothing was too much trouble and messages were always responded to quickly. They were also surprisingly great value for money compared to many other venues in the area. So happy with our choice and our guests were too. Thanks to all, especially Freya who did a great job.

Glenmore House, amazing venue which made our day perfect - Faye could not have done more to make our day everything we wanted and more, always there replying to my millions of questions in the lead up and happy to accommodate multiple visits both before booking & after. All staff we lovely and helpful but another in particular who stood out was Sam, always going out of his way to help us - just like Faye.We hired the beautiful Ballroom for both our ceremony, wedding breakfast and reception - in between each part of the day the staff worked quickly to re set the room exactly to our liking with all of our decor, taking extra care to make everything just how we wanted it. Faye was keen to listen to all of our ideas and didn’t push us in to the more traditional - we didn’t fancy the sit down three course so we went for a chefs choice buffet and added our own sweet table with sweets and donuts, the price of the food just like the venue overall was brilliant, throughout the wedding planning process the list of payments racks up fast with decor, outfits, transport etc, a lot of places adding on money simply for the fact it is a wedding but Glenmore house is more than worth the money they charge.Would recommend this venue to everyone, we will be back in the near future to try one of their Sunday carvery’s!

Had my wedding here; great venue. Lots of parking, the main hall is great for all functions and looks incredible at night with the up lights etc

Used to hold regular meetings of about 8 to 10. Good facilities (bar, parking, event halls and rooms) and great staff.

Great versatile venue large dining hall and dance floor. Very helpful friendly staff. Very good catering. Very large car park at the back.
