Well I’ve shown up to the office after having constant issues over phone and online regarding a UTR number bot working… guess what, they wouldn’t even allow me access to the building. I nice guy called ATTA met me and the door( by the way I’m totally aware it’s not his fault) and refused me in. So if I can’t do it online, I can’t do it over the phone and I can’t do it in person…. How should I fix this? When is someone who works for HMRC going to use some initiative and solve my problem instead of telling me which. Number to call or who to speak to or what form to get. DO YOUR JOB and serve the people

I failed to do my tax return because i forgot my account login, i phoned up to try re set my password and they ended it on me, then continued to send me fine after fine after fine, i phoned several times after being on hold for up to 50 minutes for them to end it on me again.

Shocking service. Never answer phone and just u letters trying to take your money!! Event when you try ring up to sort it all out over misunderstandings

I’ve been trying to speak to someone and I’m on hold, line gets disconnected and then when I ring back and provide all details, it says no one’s available to take my call then cuts of?!!! Absolutely appalling service!!! Maybe think about recruiting some contractors to answer the calls???

I have waited on the phone for over 45 minutes with no indication when or whether my call will ever be answered. It is now past the time the office closes but yet again there is no indication whether this has happened or not.Even my doctors answer before this and have a call waiting system to indicate where my call is in the queue

You're so hard to get through to. The online system doesn't work. Then you go on the Gov website which just is a bunch of hyperlinks to direct you to different pages. There is nothing I can do. I've phone and had the call end twice because youre busy on another line. What can someone do to get advice or help?

I don’t understand how hmrc is too busy to answer calls when NOBODY can get through, absolutely ridiculous just leave you on hold with the same repetitive comments from the automated voice and irritating music to drive you to put the phone down so they don’t have to deal with you. Seriously need to start employing some decent staff that can actually keep up to demand and solve peoples problems. If I could put 0 stars I would. Useless

Waited on the phone for almost an hour to speak to someone. When I finally got through, I explained the issue (being charged twice for tax) and I got put on hold, only for them to hang up on me!! Terrible service"."
