Had nice time here, a very big loch surrounded by nature. This is also a Bird sanctuary.

Duddingston Loch and Bird Sanctuary
You should visit this place. En route to Holyrood park, or Dr. Neil's garden, but you should stop. Free roaming birds. Ducks, Swans, benches to sit and just a peaceful location to be. Swans are bigger than you might expect, if seeing them for the first time. You might be able to snap some interesting picture here. As said, there is botanical garden just next, might be able to catch it working, I didn't it was late. Still worth the visit to the lake.
