A beautiful and peaceful little oasis. Lots of wildlife including cormorants and kingfishers. Please look after this spot, it's tragic when people abuse it with litter.

The spot itself is gorgeous however it's very poorly maintained and dirty. Could be better managed and become more of a pleasant attraction.

Beautiful hidden gem. We regularly go there to feed ducks and swans during winter months.

My father's Grandfather together with his brother and his son were brick-makers at the turn of the century. They worked the area digging out the clay to make bricks. This area was part of a water-course and eventually, after some years, came to be known as 'Dean's Pond'. My Father was Robert Dean. I am Pamela Gray- nee Dean. It should still be known as Dean's Pond.

choked with weed mostly. Just a couple of clear spots to cast into. Saw workmen just as I was leaving.
