Another of Newton-Le-Willows anglers waters, great fishing to be had here and a good range of species that range from a few ozs up to 20 odd lb carp and 5lb bream, the water is sheltered by the surrounding trees from the worst of the bad weather, all pegs are well maintained and big enough to spread it you gear.

Great afternoons fishing. Some nice fish stocked. Very clean. Don't forget it's a newton anglers water with no day tickets.

Another of Newton-Le-Willows angling association waters, a permit is needed to fish this water and it is well worth while becoming a member, a great variety of carp to 30lb Roach, Pearce, Rud, hybrid, Bream up to 5lb, Skimmers up to 7lb, always get to bag up on this water, best bait is pinkies, pellet, maggot, also fishes well on bread, worm, and sweetcorn, it imagery deep water at its deepest about 12ft and 4 - 5 ft close in. This is a great friendly family club to join.

Good fishing

Great place to fish. Very quiet. Didn't catch anything but then I didn't see many fish coming out around the pond with the other guys fishing. Maybe just a quiet day . Requires a newton anglers licence. Lock has a number combination which is inside the licence. Some cert nice fish in here.
