Wonderful shop selling all manner of things that I've needed. Very welcoming and relaxing inside. Polite, helpful and very well dressed staff.Stock a good range of tobacco pipes and pipe tobacco as well which is a welcome sight.A much needed escape from the toils and impersonal ways of modern day life - long may they remain in business.

My favourite shop in Macclesfield, full of character and full of useful and pretty things for inside and outside. Always has what I'm looking for, well worth a visit

This oldest shop in Macc is a cross between Hogwarts and Arkwrights from 'Open All Hours'. It's beautifully old school - magic smells, incense and beeswax wood polish - but full of brilliant, useful and old-fashioned household stuff. Well made brushes, candles, fabric dye, bottles and jars, vegetable seeds, cleaning fluids etc. There's nowhere quite like it.

Great little independent hardware store. Be a shame if it didn't survive after all these years. Tough times financially. Weekly visits to this place

Lovely little shop - Friendly staff - Only place I know that still sells Tobaco Pipes - If you dont see what your after in the shop I'm sure the staff will help you find it - On that note I will be calling in tomorrow to buy my dad a new pipe for his 87th Birthday tomorrow

Brilliant shop with a helpful and knowledgable shopkeeper. Stocks most things you might need for looking after your house and garden and a nice variety of things you don't need but will definitely want once you see them!
