PLEASE BE CAREFULI put an offer on a property to rent. My offer was accepted and I was sent a link to read a draft contract, confirm it was read and pay the deposit. I sent screenshots of error messages but I was being pressured to pay the deposit without reading the contract. They refused to email a PDF version and was told I would lose the property if I didn’t blindly pay the deposit. PLEASE BE CAREFUL and do not sign anything or pay a deposit unless you are fully informed as to what you are agreeing to!

This company works with landlords who take multiple days to reply back to sign a contract, and that same landlord will cancel your holding deposit. They also forget or don't have keys to the property they will be showing you, so your 1-hour travel is wasted.Really bad customer service which I will definitely avoid.

I have been with the agency for over a decade with properties in the Brentford area. I have found them to be very professional at all times and their client service second to none. Their understanding of local market conditions has always been very accurate and I would recommend them to any potential client. Their current team led by Erol & Robert are more like business partners than mere service providers and I highly respect their opinions.

When our prospective landlord turned out to be a scammer, Stirling Ackroyd and Corinne Day in particular did their absolute best to fight for us and help us get our money back.We rented a property through the agency, but surprisingly for both sides, the flat turned out to be unliveable. We had already paid the deposit and the first month’s rent by then, and thought we had lost that money forever, but thankfully, the company looked into the matter with all due diligence.Corinne and the agency directors stood by us until the end, and put a lot of effort into arguing our case and getting our money back from the landlord. For this, we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you very much!

Donovan was truly exceptional. He was always available and his responsiveness was incredible. If he didn’t pick up he’d always call back no longer than 5 minutes later. Seriously. We wanted a house that was convenient for work and the town centre and he helped us get exactly that. I would definitely use Stirling Ackroyd again if I ever needed to move into a new property.
