I would highly recommend Shaun to anyone who is considering learning Reiki. I have thoroughly enjoyed the course, it's been really enlightening. Shaun is a brilliant teacher - highly informative, practical and very down to earth. This will be one of the best courses you will take and will have no regrets!

I've received both treatments and training from Shaun. I have no hesitation recommending him for both. Training is straightforward, accessible and superbly informed, and treatment is powerful and appropriate. He is a good man, and you're lucky to encounter him.

It took me a few weeks before deciding on a reiki course to spend money on, but in the end I’m very glad I chose the Jikiden courses that Shaun led in Sutton Coldfield.Firstly I was impressed by the quality of the Shaun’s website and by the speed of Shaun’s polite response to my initial enquiry into signing up for the course. I was also impressed that Shaun sent through suggestions of reading material on Reiki and that there is good follow up support available after completing the courses including joining the Jikiden Reiki Association. This is important to me personally as I intend to gain a lot more work and experience giving treatments as a result of successfully becoming a reiki practitioner. Ultimately I’m glad that my instinct in choosing Jikidens un Westernised teaching and practice has been so correct, for when I returned home to Stafford after the course, I gave a 45 minute treatment to my girlfriend who has a history of light and unsettled sleep, who that very night slept more soundly than for a long time previously.In treatments given after the course, I have healed my own ear infection problems in my left ear and am providing treatment for three other friends with varying health issues with very positive results in one case so far and hopefully providing similar success for the other two now I’m back from holiday.The group size for the course weekend was also great , just 4 of us in total which meant we could have plenty of time to both learn and chat about our experiences throughout. The Jikiden handbook we received has given plenty of information on what i needed as well as having plenty of space for adding my own notes to take away with me. The group was lovely and became more enthusiastic as the weekend progressed. We got the opportunity to experience just how effective Jikiden reiki is and I came away feeling very impressed and humbled by Jikidens ability to both relax and target areas of discomfort in a human body. I’m also glad that I did the Shodun and Okuden courses back to back on Shaun’s advice and that I can also repeat the courses at a reduced rate should that be needed in the future. It was also nice to receive a nice certificate at the end and I’m looking forward to receiving my Japanese certificate soon :)Shaun’s home, where the course takes place was easy to get to from the local train station and was very comfortable to learn in too. There are plenty of local shops in the area too for buying in lunch should that be needed.Thank you Shaun and best wishes to anyone signing up :)

This was an amazing experience. Small group, in a comfortable setting. Learning traditional authentic information and techniques together with Shaun to coach you through how to use them in practice. Lots of time to try out what you are learning, ask questions and build confidence.

I do not usually do reviews but in this case I've made an exception.I would recommend Reiki treatments with Shaun even if you have had Reiki previously elsewhere.He is very professional and knowledgeable and takes care to provide an ideal setting to ensure you are relaxed during the sessions.I have had 6 treatments so far and am already benefitting from the therapy.I have just booked another block of 5 for January next year which works out cheaper than paying as you go.

I must say this exceeded my expectations and comfort level. As soon as I arrived Shaun greeted me with such a gentle welcoming manner. The training was perfect for me as I like to learn the language of the subject as well as the how to how not to etc.Shaun’s teaching was so precise yet simple for me to understand it just felt so healthy and safe from day one minute one.I would highly recommend him. I also intend booking in for a self exploration and treatment in the future.I will definitely redo the training with him in the future also.The training I got from Shaun really sits perfectly alongside my other personal therapies and training. It just makes perfect sense to incorporate it with my already mind, heart and body based healing.

Regardless of your current Reiki level all Western Reiki practitioners & masters should take the next step along their healing journey by taking a Jitiden Reiki courses.Jitiden Reiki is authentic Japanese Reiki as was taught in Japan in the early 1900s. This is hands on healing, that works.The course content and way of teaching is unchanged, unaltered and all the teachers are regulated by the Association in Japan (there's only a few in the UK). A great deal of the course is passed on verbally.Our Jikiden Reiki Shihan (teacher) was Shaun Mckeown, an excellent teacher, he presented the content superbly. There were just four of us on the course together a nice little group, which runs for three days over a weekend and then ends on the Monday.I was Western Reiki level 2 when I took Shaun's course at the end of September this year. Any questions you have about the Reiki that you've learned so far, will be answered here. Taking a Jikiden Reiki course will enhance your healing skills, both for yourself and/or others.If Reiki is a new concept for you then I'd recommend starting your healing journey here. Shaun is both an excellent Reiki practitioner and teacher and a superb business coach and mentor. If you want to develop your Reiki practice into a business then work with Shaun. I have no business background but everything I needed was covered. The support, guidance and quality of materials in both the business course and marketing course is comprehensive, clearly structured and will move you forward.
