Seymour Vets - Paignton

Really lovely people. Very welcoming and caring. We visit 6 monthly as our dog has a health plan. Always great. There have been some more serious issues over the years such as injuries but we can always feel confident when visiting here and that our dog is in safe hands.

Excellent service from this vets surgery since we moved into the area. Routine examinations and vaccinations are handled quickly and professionally (I do recommend their healthy pets club). The one time we needed a fast appointment for an injury, we were seen quickly and were very happy with the treatment and follow up advice.

One of the best vets I've been to , they love your pets as much as you do ,and explain every thing they are doing to your pet , definitely recommended , I've also recommended to family and friend who have also joined the practice

We have had both of our pets under this vets and they both have had to have surgeries which were very expensive ££££ it put us into nearly £4000 debt. This review is regarding our recent experience with Seymour. We had to have our doggy put to sleep and my experience with Seymour vets wasn't great. I arranged for them to come to our house to do the euthanasia and they booked it in for 2pm. The day came and they were 45 minutes late, this was quite distressing when they didn't turn up on time so I called up thinking maybe there was problem but no they were just running late. Which I understand this happens however with the nature of the visit they should have made more of an effort to be on time as this was an incredibly sad time for us. Not only this but they are supposed to send invoice for payment prior to picking the ashes up which I didn't know. They didn't so this meant when I went to collect my dogs ashes I had to pay there and then which was totally unacceptable as I was there to collect my dogs ashes and made us feel like this was just about the money to them, had they have sent an invoice and called to say this needs paying before collection I would have been more than ok with that. After payment the lady proceeded to get our dogs ashes only to find out they weren't delivered to the Preston vets but Totnes... this meant that we had to go all the way over there, were we eventually got the ashes. Why didn't they say on the phone when the ashes were ready that they were there knowing our home address is in Paignton. However the Vet on the day was very good and I cant complain about that however the organisation is a sham & I will be moving my cat to another vets.

I was with Seymour until recently, I lost my most beloved friend. Whenever I visited they were very helpful and supportive

Always nice and friendly. Took good care of my boy when he came in on an emergency even though it was their lunch break. Recommended

I believe Seymour's are brilliant. They cared for my JRT with great care and attention until her passing in February, I can't thank Bernadette and her colleagues enough for their compassion and care.

We had to visit Seymour vets on a couple of occasions with our ageing dog Holly. Being in Paignton on holiday we needed some medication as she had started limping badly. They contacted our usual vets in Burnley Lancs and got her the medication she needed. Over the weekend though poor Holly became ill and we contacted them again and they said to bring her straight in.The shock of being told that she had a life threatening condition and needed immediate surgery was hard to take, but the Vet, Huw Peplow was very experienced and talked us through the whole procedure. The nurses were FANTASTIC and showed so much care and love for our beloved pet and kept us informed every step of the way. We went to collect her the next day and were greeted by a bright, alert Holly, wagging her tail furiously.Thank you so much for saving her life and the wonderful care she recieved.

Wonderful veterinary surgery! Fill me with confidence regarding the care of my dogs. Truly seem to love animals and offer a variety of great services, including health checks and payment plans.

Bernie was so lovely with my rather nervous rescue dog today. She inoculated her and trimmed her nails and treated her with such kindness and patience. She took her time and there was no feeling of being rushed at all. We are so lucky to have such a team of lovely vets and all the support staff too.I cannot fault them. Thank you
