ENCORE Youth Theatre

A really enjoyable show, with a good story line. The choreography was excellent as were the sets. My two main criticisms are:- firstly virtually all the cast whether main characters or not threw away an obviously well written and sometimes funny script with their tendency to gabble their lines, so much so that I and the other two people with me gave up and gleaned the story from the action as it developed.Secondly their were too many incidents when the cast jumped into quickly when the audience were were in the process of reacting to the situation and their lines were lost. These problems apart the cast were enthusiastic, and there was obviously some excellent young talent to encourage and we actually had an enjoyable evening
