JetEx Flight Simulation

Had a wonder-full flight around Dublin airport and then into Bristol airport, during a simulator session at JetEx. The immersion that this full motion simulator gives, is just like flying a real plane. Well worth the drive to get there, and at a quite reasonable price for the experience and total immersion that it gives.

Being an armchair msfs (xbox) fan my family bought me a 30 minute full motion flight simulation experience, I must admit I was nervous and exited in equal proportions before entering the simulator, but I needn't have been nervous because I was put at ease by the instructor who explained everything very clearly. I managed a couple of take offs and landings at Dublin Airport. It looked and felt so realistic and would definitely be recommending to everone to have a go themselves and would love to return again soon.

I have an aviation background having worked for a while as a simulator software engineer on Full Flight Simulators, for the airline industry; and also flying for real as Private Pilot in light aircraft.The controls respond very realistically because of the dynamic control loading. The motion system really makes a difference.The collimated visual means that your eye has to change focus when you change your gaze from looking at the runway in the far distance on approach then look at the instrument panel. This subtle effect makes it much more realistic than a projected view or monitors just a few metres away from your eye position.Overall, I thought this simulator was excellent and well worth the money. You can find cheaper 737 sims to fly, but you probably won't find one this realistic for the same price.

Truly 5* Experience, I treated my son for his 13th birthday to a 2 hour boring 737 flight simulator experience here as he's a massive aviation fan and spends hours on Microsoft flight sim, the whole day was just fantastic and extremely immersive.From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the owner Romek and Will who was our instructor for the day both of them were very welcoming and could have spent hours chatting about aviation with them.Moving into the sim was such a surreal experience with Will guiding my boy through the controls and guiding him along the way, he went through various scenarios such as take offs and landings including cross winds, the last part involved myself and son doing a big approach and landing having to work together to solve problems and land safely.Highly recommend Jet-Ex even if you're not an aviation fan for the pure experience and will definitely be back again at some point.

I took two of my nieces and a nephew to try flight simulator as one of them was interested possibly in an aviation career. Now two of them are interested!The experience was amazing. The pilot who walked them through the basics of flying was very good at explaining everything and making the whole experience fun. He also talked us through steps one needs to take to become a pilot and the different routes to achieve this.I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to have some fun, try flying a plane and/or is considering aviation career.

Incredible experience! We were made to feel very welcome and Romek coached my near-teenage son very professionally and calmly, so any nerves my son had disappeared instantly. Really great fun.

A perfect flying experience that you must try even if you have never been a pilot. The instructors are very good at adapting to what you need. 6 Stars!Being in this simulator cockpit is likeStepping inside an SUV but with over 700 switches, buttons, dials and indicators all in arms reach and less than half the window space.They are above you, in front of you and between you but you don't have to know any of them to start. You just move the controls and you are flying.I took my good friend for a first ever flight in a cockpit and he gasped as he stepped inside. This is small!"Then you see the smart computer displays for how the plane is flying

I bought this experience for my boyfriend’s birthday. The instructor who was teaching was absolutely lovely - really knowledgable, fun guy. The simulator is incredible, just like being in the real thing - really feels like flying! I was able to sit in the sim as well the whole time which was a bonus!

5 stars doesn’t do the experience justice. Ours was a “Birthday “ experience and it was just brilliant in every way. The actual simulation was technically fantastic, but it’s the Guys that run Jet-ex that really make the day - we will definitely be having another go in the future - this is an amazing experience run by the nicest talented enthusiasts you could wish to meet. 100% recommended.
