Incredible place. Such an amazing property with its own rocky beach. The hosts were amazing and went well out of their way to make our honeymoon special. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone that wanted a seaside escape. We are already planning a trip back here in the future

WiFi was a bit slow, everything else was great. Very nice accommodation and amazing location. Who needs WiFi when it's possible to see the northern lights! Saw them on our first and second night. Our hosts were very kind and helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Superb top quality accommodation and superb hosts. The location is virtually sea front with full sea views. There are many fishing villages to visit and excellent walking nearby on the new Crovie to Gardenstown cliff top path.

Lovely place ,comfortable home from home stay . Luxurious beds well equipped kitchen nd fabulous views. The hosts lynn and bill are amazing hosts and there beautiful dog brody . My grandson ellis spent hrs crabbing and looking for treasures with his metal detector. Can’t emphasise how much we love staying at the mill and will return soon . It such a relaxed holiday but with home comforts .5 star plus .. Thankyou bill , lynn nd brody for a fabulous week!!

A perfect spot to take a break right by the sea!

My wife and I plus our 2 dogs spent a week in shore view cottage. We had a lovely welcome on arrival from Bill and Lynn and their little dog. The cottage , I would say is probably our favourite out of the places we have stayed. A nice touch of a dram of whisky and some chocolate brownies, inside the cottage. The cottage inside was amazing it had everything we needed for our stay. The location was excellent the dogs loved running around on the beach, the surrounding area had plenty of small beaches and walks. Brilliant spot for star gazing it is pitch black at night on the beach, and we got to see the northern lights, (bonus).

Excellent accommodation and location Bill and Lynn could not have been more helpful. So good we have booked for next year.

This place is just amazing, we’ve stayed in The Mill for the 3rd time now, and it’s as perfect as the 1st time we came which was over 9 years ago. Bill and Lynn have an eye for detail and quality, from the comfiest beds to the huge bath. The Mill is super warm and cozy, we actually had to turn the heating down! They now have Netflix and free Wi-Fi, and the Covid cleaning is unreal! We felt super safe coming here, the pebble beach is great for walks. The fact you can bring your furry friends is just a bonus. There is no light pollution at night so the stars are bright and there are hundreds to see, coming from a light polluted town this is beautiful to see. It doesn’t matter how long your stay is it’s never long enough.

Fabulous accommodation and beautiful setting. Perfect for a quiet retreat.
