Nice setting with views of the Vineyards. Other interesting craft shops on the premises with a deli and gift shop selling the wine they produce. The wine was very nice! Ate lunch in the cafe, which was ok, but for the setting expected home made food, cakes and bread etc.

It's taken me 5 days to reflect on our visit and I still feel as I did on Mothers Day. A daughter booked a wine and cheese tasting to be followed by a 3 course lunch. The wine & cheese tasting was fantastic. A knowledgeable lady and all 4 of us enjoyed it .I truly wished the same could be said about the Sunday lunch. The smoked salmon I had for starters was pleasant but nothing amazing. I chose roast beef for my main course and I can say nothing good about it. The meat was tough, the vegetables were over cooked, the roast potatoes were so crispy a knife couldn't penetrate them and the centre had cooked away. One overcooked carrot and a slither of parsnip. The Yorkshire pudding was not light, as it was also overcooked and crispy. The Kale was the best part, as it had barely been shown any steam .We asked to see the menu again so we could choose a dessert . Thirty minutes later we gave up and asked for the bill. There were plenty of serving staff available but they didn't seem to have set tables to work and just flitted around.Unfortunately I don't see us returning for Sunday lunch anytime soon. An even greater shame when my daughter & partner had driven 2 hours to meet us here for lunch .

Had a super lunch in the restaurant before attending a gin tasting experience. Staff very efficient and service was excellent. Would definitely recommend it and hope to return for a wine tasting next time. Good choice of gifts, cards, chocolates and of course the many bottles of wine and spirits to choose from.

I haven't been for years but yesterday it was in the right place at the right time. Very busy with an indoor craft fair with good quality items and we purchased a lovely lino print. Then in the main shop we found lots of great food and drink gifts (or keep) items and of course the Halpenny Green Vineyards wine selection.Didn't have time to try the restaurant which may increase it to 5 stars.

Brilliant night at Halfpenny Green. Stopped in our campervan through Brit Stops. Had breakfast in the restaurant the following morning. Excellent food and service. Bought a couple of bottles of wine that were reasonably priced. Will definitely be back

We visited Sunday in the afternoon to the vineyard and the shop is lovely and has a range of delicious treats. However, the service in the shop was slow as was when we ordered a milkshake from the hut. It took 10 minutes for the lady to serve ice cream for 4 people in-front of us, as did it take 10 minutes for her to make a milkshake which costed £4.50 and didn’t even fill the line. Personally it did not fulfil the price given other small businesses/large businesses offer more for price. The price just did not value the service and the lady herself was rude

Absolutely fantastic experience here!We were gifted whiskey tasting vouchers for Christmas, found the booking process very easy, and excitedly waited for the date to come around. Having lived in Stourbridge for 25 years, and elsewhere in the Black Country for another 10, I can’t believe I’ve never been before. The entrance is beautiful, with little indie businesses on site (I bought a lovely bracelet from the first shop on the right) and a large building with the bar, restaurant and shop. All staff we met were very friendly, and welcoming. I felt very much at home! The lady who did our tasting experience was an absolute dream, she was very chatty and absolutely hilarious! She even tried a whiskey we enjoyed despite not liking them much herself, and made some top notch recommendations to us.We ended up staying for food, and buying alcohol, chutneys, and other treats from the shop downstairs. It was absolutely wonderful and we wouldn’t hesitate to return!

A wine named 'Black Country' got us interested in this place, and a helpful phone conversation with Liz in advance persuaded us to make the long journey from Cheshire. Our experience was limited to the cafe, gift shop and wine store.Parking was chaotic and dangerous with little visual information. Many wore the estate uniform, but few were actually helping customers. We used the disabled lift, and, though help was promised with carrying our 15 bottles to the car, none was forthcoming. No baskets or trolleys were available. The food was ordinary and pricey, and our waitress forgot the bill. Service was perfunctory and summed up by the numbered wooden pudding spoons being removed from their holders when the obligatory 'was everything OK?' question asked. The emphasis here is on maximising the profits from the Christmas season without making sure that customer service is up to the required standard.

Our first Sunday lunch here since the new build has been opened. The experience was OK but sadly nothing more. The service was pleasant enough but unfortunately it was also slow and felt chaotic". The food
