I recently went on intro to gravel riding weekend with Wild Cycles. Great experience, we were very well looked after on and off the bike. We had two guides making sure that we are safe and enjoying ourselves during the ride.Very cosy campsite with bell tents and of course lots of delicious home made food (and some beers). If you considering trying out gravel riding this is a great place to start!

Wild Wales by Wild Cycles based in the secluded camp nestled in a tranquil valley in deepest mid Wales. The team has really got it right for a completely different style of cycling experience, not about competition but more about emersion into the countryside. The routes have been designed to show off the area but with the variety of distances to suit all levels of experience.A real feeling of community and inclusively sitting around the camp fire listening to everyones tails from the trail.I'll definitely be coming back. Thanks for welcoming us into your family.Well done Wild Cycles

Had a great time on the King Alfred's Way tour. Communication with John and the team was excellent and he really cared about how we were getting on and that we were enjoying it. We were met with a big smile and cold drinks at the end of the day. I think ours was one of the first to be catered and the food was top notch. Cooked in the field with and just what was needed. I enjoyed it so much I took advantage of the available seconds. The King Alfred's Way is a must do and speaks for itself but Wild Cycles allowed me to enjoy the ride without having to carry my luggage and think about finding breakfast and tea. The post ride set up was so fun and social that we all chatted and bonded over the shared experience. Strongly recommend!

I had a great experience renting a bike from Wild cycles. John was quick to answer, was easy to meet up with and retrieve the bike from. He also had great suggestions on where to ride which I took and I’m glad I did.The bikes are quality and clearly well maintained and he gives you everything you could possibly need in a handlebar bag.My trip was greatly improved by my experience with Wild Cycles.I highly recommend.

Just back from an amazing weekend booked through Much Better Adventures introducing us to gravel riding in the Chilterns.I really felt looked after by John, Beatrice and Nick. Wonderful weather helped but also their attention to detail, from the choice of routes and surface, to the delicious food, the lovely teepees and the amazing campsite.Look forward to come back and attempt the KAW once I've got a bit fitter and more used to sitting on a saddle for hours!

A great event with a lovely energy. This is what happens when you get likeminded people together to explore the outdoors. Perfect routes that challenge the beginner through to seasoned wilderness explorers. All routes guarantee epic views.

I just completed the King Alfred’s way weekend and I had a blast.John was a great host and provided everything we needed. From a detailed route brief in the morning to snacks and beers upon arrival at each camp sites. Vast choices of ingredients and tools to cook dinners and breakfasts. And of course tent and beds for the night. You only need to show up and cycle while everything else is taken care of by the Wild Cycles team. The route is tough but with beautiful sceneries day after day.I can’t recommend this enough!

I joined a two-day Wild Cycles South Downs Way ride and I honestly can't think of anything Jon & co got wrong. Pre-ride communications were spot-on, the instructions/ directions were clear, and the overnight camp was excellent - including delicious food and drink, a pre-erected bell tent for soft types like me, and a band, no less! Very friendly, knowledgeable and well-organised from start to finish. I'll be back for more! Highly recommended.

My friends and I had an amazing adventure riding the KAW supported by Wild Cycles. It’s a unique, stunning and bonding experience. John, Beatrice and their son were extremely welcoming and took care of every small detail. John gave detailed briefings of the route each day and Beatrice whipped up delicious breakfasts and suppers. They are extremely safety conscious and looked after and transported all our kit with no hiccups. This is a very well organised team who really focus on encouraging you and your enjoyment. Well done Wild Cycles !!

One word to describe our experience is EPIC! We cycled our first multi day trip on the King Alfred Way and so glad we booked it with Wild Cycles. John and Vincent were superb. A great set up, locations, logistics taken care of, food, route were all brilliant - knowing the camp is all set up for you when you arrive is such a great feeling. We didn't have any mechanicals en-route but it's reassuring to know that Wild Cycles will be there for you if you need help. Thoroughly recommend them for your cycling adventures. We will definitely use them again. Thanks guys!
