Booked a block of 10 DJ sessions with Abby and really enjoyed the way she broke down the lessons with theory and homework and of course the practical!She was super patient and a really chilled which was so nice. It was quite daunting to start with but once it clicked the lessons got more and more fun!Her tips and guidance have stuck with me and I’ve shared some of my recent successes to which she is really lovely and congratulatory! On top of this she’s a fab DJ and a real inspiration ☺️

Abby is a great teacher, her enthusiasm is infectious and she gave me clear instructions on the basics of dj-ing which then gave me the confidence to practice at home. Abby was full of suggestions and tips to fit my requirements and it was always a pleasure to attend lessons with her, I would definitely recommend anyone thinking of starting out to book some lessons with her, you'll have a great time and learn loads!

Abby is great!I’d got proficient on a beginner set of decks and upgraded to something that blew my mind, not least because I had to change software as well as learn new hardware.Abby has been great for improving my confidence on the new kit and the results are clear (to me anyway!).

Being a total novice, she has not only helped me to develop my skills in the technical aspects of DJ’ing but also offering amazing guidance around building my brand and has also developed my confidence in entering a completely new arena. Abby is brilliant at teaching DJing. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience that means I can ask lots and lots of questions and she'll be able to answer all of them.It's something I've been wanting to do for years and I'm really looking forward to seeing where this journey will take me.

Abby is an excellent teacher and really knows her stuff . Makes you feel totally at ease and is really good at teaching complex techniques without making you feel stupid when you are learning. She has a great studio in the heart of Bristol’s dance music scene to teach from and you know you are learning from one of the best proper underground dj’s out there . The lessons are paced really well and you get really good advice on equipment and sourcing music too. Price is really good value as well for bespoke 1:1 tuition of this calibre. Highly recommended .

Abby is brilliant for DJ mentoring. I’ve previously completed the Mix Nights course, played out and on radio, but wanted some follow-up mentoring to improve - let’s face it, you can always improve! Abby has a wealth of experience from exploring your mixer (she used to work at Bop DJ so is super familiar with a variety of kit) to shaping a mix, to shaping your brand. Her set-up is club standard too so you’ll get to use proper kit. I’d recommend Abby to anyone wanting to get started on the basics or grow in their ability, even if you have years under your belt. I’ll keen returning to her for the foreseeable.

Abby is an excellent teacher and mentor and can help you at any stage of your DJ career. I was a complete beginner and I felt completely at ease from our very first lesson! I immediately got a sense of her music, equipment and software knowledge and she’s very good at understanding the pace at which to teach an individual. It’s also great that she is representing the female space in the Bristol music scene (as someone who was keen to support a female-led business. I’d recommend her highly to anyone looking to learn and/or progress their DJ career. I have gone on to play for local radio and a couple of gigs so far and can’t thank her enough! Don’t hesitate on giving it a go :)

Abby is professional and easy to get on with. She is experienced buy able to pitch the lesson at my level. I am 58 and just starting out. Abby started me off in the right direction advising what equipment to get and how to use it. It was also very helpful to have what we covered in an email that Abby would send me after each lesson. The lessons with Abby have given me confidence. Abby is also very reliable and is prompt at responding to e mails so planning lessons was also easy.
