Tuckers Hall is home to The City of Exeter's important historic woollen cloth trade heritage.Dating from AD 1471 this stunning building has been constantly renovated, repurposed and even confiscated by a monarch through the centuries! But its original features still remain, including the 15th century roof timber and Jacobean panelling.Built originally as a chapel dedicated to the Assumption of the Blessed Virigin Mary, over time it became the home of the Guild of Weavers, Fullers and Shearman of the city who regular held meetings here and worshipped in the chapel.

Lovely olde world historical place I didn't even know existed. Can be rented out for gatherings and has a lovely intimate atmosphere. There are lots of historical things here from very old stain glass windows to lovely carved wood decorations. Lovely place to visit in the heart of Exeter
