I am so glad I found Dr Iqbal Mohiuddin! I have been seeing psychiatrists for over 16 years now and he is by far the best from my experience. I instantly felt comfortable with him when I tend to have difficulty trusting doctors in that field (for good reason). Dr Iqbal is a fantastic psychiatrist. He is warm, down to earth and understanding. He has the ability to put you at ease almost instantly. I am so thankful that he has finally set me on the right path. I have been misdiagnosed my whole life and the struggle has been debilitating! It’s always a challenge finding medical support outside of the NHS, there’s little guidance on where to look and who to trust.But with the state of ADHD services in the NHS and the current wait times to see a psychiatrist, you might choose to look elsewhere.After (a lot) of searching for a suitable, affordable practice, I’m very grateful that I finally ended up with IamPsychiatry.Dr Iqbal is down to earth, supportive, and non-judgemental. He gives you the space to fully explore your thoughts, guiding you with the lightest touch when necessary. None of the conversations I’ve had with him felt stifling or a chore that I’d be anxious about for days ahead of time and none felt like I had to justify myself.With regards to diagnoses, Dr Iqbal is very thorough in his assessment, insisting on building a holistic image of your life before setting off down the path of treatment or medication. He doesn’t force a diagnosis on you and he is cautious in prescribing, which felt reassuring.He also does his level best to get you back on to the NHS in a timely manner so you can continue your treatment there once stable.That got a bit away from me, but tl;dr I highly recommend IamPsychiatry.

Dr Iqbal Mohiuddin has a warm and welcoming manner, he is extremely helpful with a great insight into the strengths and weakness of a lot of neurodiverse conditions explaining it comprehensively,.Dr Iqbal Mohiuddin listens exceptionally well thus giving him a true diagnosis explaining and addressing any concerns you have whilst giving good and practical advice.Dr Iqbal Mohiuddin has truly helped me and I highly recommend using him.

Dr Iqbal is fantastic - his approach is inclusive and understanding, and he has a wealth of experience. I have felt able to be honest with him about my difficulties, and he has engaged with me as a client without stigma or prejudice. I have a fairly complicated history, and he carried out a very thorough assessment for ADHD. After being diagnosed with ADHD, I started medication and have found the regular reviews very helpful. It’s been life changing and I highly recommended Dr Iqbal.

I went to I am Psychiatry because I was really struggling with ADHD symptoms. I'm 35 years old and the idea that I could have ADHD and needed to see a Psychiatrist was terrifying. Turns out i had nothing to worry about. Dr Iqbal was so compassionate and understanding and made me feel comfortable and safe even as I shared uncomfortable truths. He has been supportive throughout the entire process and I feel lucky to have found him. I had my diagnosis a month ago and have been on medication since... and I feel amazing! It's a long journey ahead but I feel so much better equipped for that journey now!

I had many years of knowing I had ADHD but having no official diagnosis. I had managed my symptoms more or less over the years by self-medicating with caffeine and sugar. However, when perimenopause hit my symptoms got much worse so I decided to get an official diagnosis. Being a Primary School SENCo, I was aware of the pitfalls of some private ADHD ‘clinics’ so did my research and found Dr. Iqbal. After filling in the pre-diagnosis forms, I had a 3 hour appointment with Dr. Iqbal which was very thorough and enlightening. Having completed a dissertation on ADHD I had considered myself quite well informed but Dr. Iqbal helped me understand my symptoms and make connections I had never even thought off. After diagnosis, he helped me through the medication titration with regular reviews until we hit on the right balance. The whole experience has been life changing. I wish I’d done it sooner. I am healthier and happier than I’ve ever been and feel so much more in control of my symptoms and therefore my life. I cannot recommend Dr. Iqbal enough and am very grateful for his ongoing support.
