Safe and Sound Outdoors

Terrifically exciting and safely dangerous! The team engaged with everyone from the off. Friendly, professional and enthusiastic, the whole SASOutdoors team worked to make our experience the best it could be. Our leader, Adam (Fingers) was perfect for our group of 4 50-somethings. Two of us were terrified of ending up in the water, but as Adam calmly assured us, we were inevitably going to get wet. His reassurance and straightforward manner eliminated any fears to the point that we all willingly got into the river and happily floated downstream on our backs!Each of the team leaders worked tirelesssly to ensure everyone was kept safe, whilst still enjoying an incredibly thrilling experience! Thank you Adam, we'll be back!!

Went on the white water rafting and had a great time. Definitely recommended. Thanks to all the staff for a great afternoon.

The rafting was good fun, me an the lads had a great time. Personally I would have liked more extreme but think I will have to go further a field for that.

One of the best weekends I’ve had with friends in a long time. Thought I would try something different for my 40th so booked 2 activities (rafting and rock climbing) through Safe and Sound Outdoors. From start to finish the staff were brilliant, friendly and really helpful. Definitely coming back in the new year to try the gorge walking and might even do the rafting again! A BIG thanks to all the staff for making it such a memorable weekend :-)

On Monday 19th June we brought 4 Year 9 students for a week away in Shropshire with all activitiesorganised with Safe and Sound Outdoors.Craig was extremely helpful in allowing me to schedule activities that fit with what we wanted forthe students that they would be challenged by but would thoroughly enjoy.Phil and Rob arrived on Day One and they immediately put the students at ease.Their professionalism, passion for world in which we live and commitment to raising the next generation was inspiring. Over the course of the week, they forged incredible relationships with both staff and students alike and really did, open the eyes of all who came into contact with them.Rob’s kindness in encouraging, cajoling and supporting students (and staff) into activities that wereso anxiety provoking was moving. The cheese jokes – not so much.Phil’s instruction and banter was a pleasure to be around and the best moment perhaps were in thewild flowers’ meadow where we were taught to be present and not settle for being in the rat race.I wonder if Phil and Rob realise how they changed the lives of the staff and students that week - Whether it be standing up on the paddleboard, being in the countryside, surfing in the rapids on the River Dee or learning that being without a phone isn’t the end of the world…whatever the moment,lifelong memories were made this week.Thank you will not suffice for what you made happen Safe and Sound Outdoors – we cannot wait tocome back!Love Tile Cross Academy

Me and my two girls had a great day Staff and organisation was perfect.

Did the River bug extreme experience today with my partner and daughter, we all agreed it was an excellent fun activity!Guide was great, encouraged you to push yourself but with an eye to safety.Hopefully be back soon to try something different.Thoroughly recommend
