Had a jammed front door and Mark came out the same day to fit a new gearbox mechanism and cylinder lock. He took the time to explain everything, the options I had, provided a first rate service and quality job. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Great friendly service and nothing to much trouble. Got me out of a rather embarrassing situation with the keys locked in a running car, quickly got the job done and at a price I was very happy with. Definitely use again as well as recommend to anyone.

Wow EXCELLENT Service.Mark from A1 locksmiths Barnsley attended our property today as our door lock mechanism broke and we couldn’t lock the door.Firstly Mark was super responsive and attended our property within a hour. Mark gave advise straight away on the phone so we didn’t occur anymore more cost then needed.Mark diagnosed the problem straight away and even had the correct locking mechanism on the van. Mark had a wide range of new parts to hand so we didn’t have to wait.Mark has fantastic people skills, he educated us on the whole locking mechanism and even gave us advice to maintain the locking mechanism to increase its life span. Mark gave us some security advice to keep our home as safe as possible.Honestly Mark has extensive knowledge. Mark came the day after we requested his help, he was on time and fixed the door for us. He was very knowledgeable on the issue and fixed the door alignment as well as the lock. The lock wasn’t easy to fix but he didn’t give up. Mark also advised us and we upgraded our locks to 3 star, I would recommend A1 Locksmiths.
