The only reason it's not 5* review is like most outdoor stuff IN beautiful SCOTLAND WAS THE WEATHER COMPLETELY BEATIFULL SCENERY UNSPOILED WITH NO WIND FARMS OR LITTER A LOVELY WALK PeacefulAND TRANQUILLOVED IT

Even better than expected. We have visited a wealth of military boundary posts over the years, however this one has to be the cream of the crop - it's gently tapered edges had even our most stone-faced member beaming with joy.Definitely worth the walk from Inverness.

A stone along the popular walk along the beachfront of Ardersier to Fort George. Some rather crazy seals swim here from time to time, but they are not dangerous.

This stone was slightly longer than the other stones on the beach nearby. The wind from the sea blew me away. Overall, this place utterly rocks.
