Close to heart of things but in a quiet street, I was greatly appreciative of the hospitality and heart I received from Sonia and Gavin at their lovely guesthouse. Their wholesome, homemade brekky was a perfect start to the day. The place was very tidy and well kept, beds were comfy, my private shower was incredible (especially after a few weeks of hostels!). They were generous with local advice or a chat and check in and out was simple and quick. Great value for the price. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Many thanks to Sonia and Gavin for a lovely stay and making us feel so welcome. Our room was very comfy and the guesthouse was in great location. Breakfast was lovely! We look forward to staying there again and would not hesitate to recommend this guesthouse.

Couldn't fault this place. Large rooms, very clean, nothing too much trouble and the owners ate brilliant. Only one thing was they only did continental breakfast and my other half likes his fry ups, but on sating that there was a lovely cafe on the marina that did a cracking fry.... so jib done. Definitely go again next time.

Amazing stay! Sonia and Gavin make you at home. Great location. Large and comfortable rooms. A fantastic breakfast. I can't recommend this stay enough!

Te encontrarás cómo en casa. La casa es muy agradable, la habitación con todo lo que necesitas y luminosa y tanto Sonia como Gavin, los anfitriones están pendientes de que no te falte de nada.Además podrás disfrutar de desayunos caseros y saludables.Recomendable 100%.

200% recomendable, sin duda para repetir. Habitación impecable, con todo lo necesario para disfrutar de una agradable estancia, la casa es amplia y muy confortable, con muchos detalles que la hacen especial, bien ubicada respecto al tren y marina. La atención de Gavin y Sonia excepcional, la comida riquisima, se nota la calidad de los ingredientes y el gusto por la buena cocina. Esperamos volver pronto!

I’m returning for the 3rd time in 9 months. Why? Is it because of the great location? The warm welcome? The comfort and cleanliness of the rooms? Sonia’s delicious, varied and freshly cooked food? The enthusiasm and helpfulness of the hosts? Perhaps all of these things, coupled with the sense of fun and banter from Sonia and Gavin (just don’t get him started on his football team!). Whatever it is, I’m really looking forward to my next visit in 10 days time.

Hosts Sonia and Gavin were so friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to accomodate us. There was a wonderful selection of vegan options for breakfast - Sonia is a very talented chef. Gorgeous views from our room and beds v comfy too. The guesthouse is situated so close to the marina and the shops - really handy. Very homely feel and it was nice to meet other guests too. Would def recommend!
