We regularly purchase our company vehicles from York Van Centre and couldn't recommend them enough. Chris in the sales team is excellent, always ensuring our needs are met to the highest standards and doing his best to accommodate when we need a quick turn around. Any issues we have had with new or old vehicles are always resolved quickly and efficiently the whole team can't do enough to help!

Buying a vehicle can often be a daunting and intimidating process. However, Chris and the team at York Van Centre were fantastic. Tried to buy a van here last year. Went with a male colleague twice to look round. Most of their questions were directed at him despite me being the one who is going to drive it/in charge of the company/paying for it. Gave them all my information (again defaulted to my colleague and asked for his information instead of mine) and they said they would call when something suitable comes in. I’ve called twice to remind them what model and make I’m after and the urgency in which our company needs a van. Have they called me? Not once.When you’re willing to spend thousands on a van and are reassured that they will have something suitable come in, only to be completely ignored and never called despite having visited the place twice to look round, it’s just atrocious. The only explanation can be blatant sexism and ignorance.Very disappointed and will not attempt buying from here again.

I've recently hired two pick ups from York Van Centre for work events. From start to finish, it's been a professional friendly service and at a reasonable cost. Big thanks especially to Jimmy for sorting everything out.

I bought my Citroen Relay from the guys at York Van Centre. There weren't many vans around on the market at the time, so traveled up to York form Cornwall.They were really helpful and reassuring. The van was exactly as described, and they made a big purchase, nice and simple.

Let’s face it, nobody likes the procedure of buying a vehicle, you sit in the showroom for half a day and the salesman can’t make a decision until he’s spoken to the people upstairs, in the end you’ve lost the will to live and you just want to leave.Well, York Vans are the total opposite, we went in 2 weeks ago to buy a new Isuzu D-Max, Colin immediately took us out for a test drive and within 90 minutes the deal was done, you could almost say it was a pleasure. Would definitely go back again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. All the team were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.

Hired a Transit Van from York Van Centre and from the initial contact through to the return of the vehicle the service was excellent. Everything was excellent; very competitive cost, immaculately presented vehicle which drove superbly, and very helpful, engaging and professional staff. Great value and a very pleasant experience. I had purchased a van from this company 3 years ago and never had a single issue. It was broken into a couple of weeks ago and i decided to visit York Van Centre to quote for the repairs as i have great great faith in the quality of their work and high standards. Long story short the van was written off by the insurance company - i was helped through this whole process and a week later purchased a new van from them. Its absolutely perfect and although everyone is welcoming and really professional, Colin went above and beyond and really is star in the industry, very welcoming and professional. When it is time for the next van i know where i will be going ....
