my favourite chicken rice in london. large portions, flavourful rice... the chilli sauce and ginger sauce are authentic! super shiok. i look forward to coming to office because it means i can have lunch here

The chicken rice box is absolutely amazing. Nuff said. And i shall come back to try other dishes.

Possibly best laksa I have had outside of Singapore :) yes, I am not exaggerating. If anything I would like a stronger fish sauce and tamarind taste but that's my personal take. And I understand that it might be toned down to the local clientele - young white collar, British professional :pI like the seasoning if the hainanese chicken and absolutely adore the ginger sauce but the chicken is a bit overcooked compared to those in Singapore which would s just poached to 'dine' but not well done. The rice was perfect tho - fragrant and savory goodness.High quality food at very reasonable price, just like anything on Leather Lane.Best part, the owner are super friendly . Yummy food served with a smile, what's not to like?I will be back!

The best Rendang Beef and Laksa I ever had. I'm Malaysian and I know what is authentic Malaysian taste and this is it!! Full flavour and not too spicy! Must try.

Rainy day at Leather Lane market today - but dropped by to pick up some some food for myself and my coworkers. We got the beef rendang, hainan chicken, and prawn laksa. Ken packed the soup and noodles separate for me so that it wouldn't get soggy during 30mins of transport. I really appreciated this.All three items had nice depth and flavor to it. The rice is cooked perfectly! The portions were so big that my co-worker couldn't finish her chicken and rice! But make sure to get the chili and ginger sauces - makes all the difference.You can really tell the love and care Ken puts into the food, definitely will visit again - just sad that the market doesn't run on the weekends!

Love this little place in the market...food is really authentic and generous in portion size. Their beef rendang is truly melt in the mouth tender, and their laksa broth is delicious...a must go!
