Tesco Travel Money

Went twice over the last week, once at 5.35pm and once on Friday at 5.45 I believe, both times the lady with blonde hair and glasses was on, whilst the second time she appeared to be more engaging, she still seemed like all she was bothered about was getting out of the office dead on closing time even though we arrived and left before her closing time. the first time I was unable to complete my order because I left my ID at home, all though before she knew I left my ID her attitude before hand was appalling, I could clearly see because she had died down and not been busy, she had begun her closing down procedure, I didn't need to work there to work that out, she was really abrupt, and rushing around to get out m, I knew that was the case because before I managed to even get back to my car, she had walked passed me and sped off, in what I believe was a purple Peugeot..the second time at the beginning was more the same all though she was appear to interact a little more a though she didn't really make us feel welcome regarding our purchase, again she gave the impression that if your not done by six I'm shutting up, and I'm off kind of attitude, we managed to complete our orders though and manage to get the travel money the same day, we purchased euros..

Went in on 30/08 to order Mexican pesos the woman rudely told me she didn't want to count that much I explained that I really needed it, she rudely reluctantly put the order in and told me to collect on 02/09 I arrived at 4.30ish stood in the queue for over an hour listening to her speaking to other customers like rubbish very rude snappy and shaking her head and rolling her eyes at everyone whilst slamming things around behind the counter, she even had the nerve to have a go at one gentleman because the notes he handed her were not all facing the same way round. Anyway i Got to the front of the queue and she said sorry LOVE your gonna have to come back another time I've not got time to Count it and proceeded to deal with the next customer. Its not that fact she was busy that was an issue it's how rude and abrupt she was on both occasions manners and politness dont cost a thing, and are a MUST in customer service... I still don't have my travel money. I informed her that she had been rude to me on two occasions and she proceeded to abruptly ask another customer if they thought she was rude, so unprofessional and not helpful at all. Everytime another customer joined the queue she just glared at them and shook her head!Absolutely appaled by this, and it is being taken further already!

Turned up at 2:18 after driving 9miles to buy euros for the lady to tell me rudely that she was going on her break till 3:10 and there was nothing she could do about it and there’s nothing on their website that says they may have a break.

Having traveled from Norwich to the Gt Yarmouth store in order to change some money, I found the que was extremely long. As I stood waiting patiently (as one should), I couldn't but overhear some of the comments and frankly abusive things people, and I have to say, mature women were making. The lady in the kiosk was trying to hurry and get these people served as quickly as possible and do her job ie ensuring the count was correct for the customers and Travel money.as the que moved down the loud mouthed Yarmouthits continued the barrage of nasty and vindictive comments at the operative. I felt so sorry for her to be honest I turned away, and returned a couple of days later. The lady in the booth (sorry, I've forgotten her name) was very pleasant and seemed to brush off what had happened a few days previous, saying it's probably the busiest store in the area. And the que is often very long. Also that the public do not seem realise that the staff on duty are often on there own, and require at the very least a lunch break by law. No I received my Euros with thank, and hope that Tescos does something to sort this kind of thing out, the store would NOT allow this behaviour at the Tills!

Not open on a Sunday although the website says they are, wasted my time

Came into Tesco GT Yarmouth to buy currency at 15:25, the currency desk was closed with a sign saying back soon at 4pm; that is not 'soon'So, I get that the employee on the currency desk has to have a break, but plenty more staff wandering about - train some more to operate the currency desk...
