Popped in for lunch - the difference from a few years ago is amazing. The staff were all lovely, the food was spot on (had egg mayo sandwiches and shared a side of fries) . Proper plateful Including a decent salad and crisps. The decor is nicer, not as dark and gloomy. Such a positive difference in all aspects.

First time been back again in years and I must admit the meal and experience was lovely! Took our granddaughter for my birthday lunch and it was well worth the trip. Our granddaughter ordered chicken nuggets and chips and my wife ordered breaded mushrooms (starter) and chips and I played safe with steak pie. Meal was lovely although my only complaint was my meal wasn't piping hot. Granddaughter got ice cream for dessert and I got sticky toffee pudding all in all a 9/10 and when we left the restaurant was busy so we'll definitely be back.

Architecturally, the building is very unappealing, but what it lacks on the outside, it makes up for on the inside. The food is excellent and unpretentious, the staff are friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely go again.

Truly lovely place. Warm family pub vibe However such modern decor. The staff were truly friendly. Home cooked meals. Good size and great value for money. Great job to the new management we will definitely be back.Gluten free options on the menu

First time I've been for lunch and it certainly wont be the last as the food was excellent. It was a Friday at 1pm. I am so glad I phoned ahead to book a table as it was packed. It didnt seem to make any difference with the level of service as that was excellent as well.
