Art at the Heart CIC

I cant recommend Art at The Heart highly enough. The team are amazing and their passion for all things creative gives all of the children such a fantastic space to be expressive and build their confidence. My daughter loves the sessions each week and is so proud and bubbling with enthusiasm when she gets to show us what she has achieved.

My daughter attended a week long “Be an artist for a week” summer camp and absolutely loved it. I don’t think I’ve ever seen people as enthusiastic about what they do and so kind to the children in their care. From creating wire sculptures to spray painting, designing and printing a T-shirt to a trip to an art gallery, the week was full of activities to spark their imagination creativity, and develop valuable skills for the future. In my daughters own words “It was heaven”. Extremely good value for money compared to some other camps. We will definitely return next year. Thank you!

My daughters fully enjoyed their day at the Core taking part in the 'Big Draw'. Thanks to all the support of Mukesh and the team, they produced some fantastic drawings and they can't wait to return.

My daughter is loving the online course with Art in the Heart. Its a real lockdown tonic. The pace of the class is ideal and its a very supportive and positive atmosphere which is sometimes hard to create in an online space. I hope they create lots more online courses.

If you have children that are creative, this is the space for them! The team are incredible, and really do allow the kids to be themselves, and express who they are creatively. They support individual needs, and also develop team work skills. The artwork that the kids develop is amazing, and the kids come out so proud of themselves. I would 100% recommend this for any children looking for a creative outlet. My daughter just loves it!

My son thoroughly enjoys his weekly classes with Art at the Heart. I’m amazed at the work he is producing which is thanks to the excellent teaching. The opportunity they have given him to volunteer with the younger age group has also really boosted his confidence. I’m delighted that we found such a welcoming and nurturing organisation for him to be involved with. Thankyou.

My daughter began attending these art classes as part of her Duke of Edinburgh project! She reluctantly joined as it meant time away from her mobile device. Now she attends by choice and has signed up to a separate term.I have been so pleased with the amazing work she has created and the support, encouragement and praise provided by Mukesh!Not only has it reignited her interest in art which she wasn’t quite getting from school classes but it is super healthy to have interests outside of school instead of being consumed by devices and technology!Thank you Art in the Heart

My daughter is nearing the end of her first term with Mukesh and Kamaljit on the Youth Arts course and it has been a massive success. Art at the Heart offers a completely unique service. It is a comprehensive art course that not only gives my daughter the art provision they require (as they are home schooled) but also a high level of art tutoring that is preparing their for art school entrance test. Art courses are often approached as pure entertainment rather than a academic subject... I searched high and low to find such a course. We happily travel the 14 miles to attend as it's more than worth the distance. The young people who attend, work in a focused manner and produce an exceptional quality of work. My daughter has made some lovely friends on the course which is a massive bonus for her.Mukesh is such a positive and encouraging tutor who is always available to provide feedback, which I very much appreciate. Students have the opportunity to work towards an Arts Award and also gain experience helping to organise art events... as I said an incredibly comprehensive offering!
