Durban’s have carried two repairs for us. My wife’s leather boots. They shaped the legging to fit at the top of her stylish boots. They now, not only fit comforting but also look great. The 2nd was a repair to her 20 year old leather purse. The quality of workmanship is 1st class. We’d Recommend them to anyone.

took in my Karrimor, hot rock low walking boots to see if a new sole could be fitted, not only were they repairable but now they are better than new, great work, good price.

Picked up my Meindl walking boots on Saturday - superb replacement of the sole, the new sole is superior to the Meindl original. I've looked after the leather uppers over a few years of Welsh winters and the boots now have a new lease of life for a good few more winters yet - not to mention a fantastic and enhanced grip. I will be getting back there in the next month or so to get my other Meindl's re-soled. This place is a rare gem with expertise and knowledge (and a lifteime's experience!) of the mountains.

Excellent and extremely efficient service with a smile. I was gifted a rather expensive pair of designer shoes a few years back and unfortunately, wore the heels down quite far without realising. I was recommended this place and it didn’t disappoint. My shoes are like new! I’d definitely recommend and continue to use their services.

Durbans is a throwback to a time before Internet and reviews took over. I've been coming for 16 years. I've had shoes repaired for the whole family there. I've had my Osprey rucksacks repaired there, keys cut locks replaced. That alone deserves 5 stars. But with the owner being out of action through injury he still finds time to walk you through changing the lock on a front door. I have never received anything close to that level of service. I'm forever grateful. Thank you.

Did a great job on Paul's shoes again. Bought a new pair of Hoggs shoes here today that came with the usual excellent customer service and attention to detail. We won't go anywhere else. Highly, highly recommended.

A friend recommended Durban's shoes to me while i was away on a job , my boots had taken a battering over the 12 - 13 years this last gig was the straw that broke the camels back.I cannot recomend Durban's enough the work carried out was second to none like i had a brand new pair of boots returned to me

Would highly recommend. Used this place a few times now and always reliable. We've had quite a few keys cut and they are always good quality and work first time unlike Timpsons where I had to take them back.
