Mitchell Blades - Canoe & Kayak Paddles

I just got hold of the new Mitchell Blades Atlantis Ultra Core carbon paddles. These newly designed blades are light and strong. They feel great the moment you pick them up. On the water, the blade entry is silent and comfortably smooth with no splash; yet the medium-size Atlantis with its newly designed curve on the drive face, seems to give the power of a larger blade. Mr Mitchell has certainly worked his design magic with these slick and powerful blades!

I borrowed a Mitchell paddle (a carbon river Jaguar blade, 197cm crank shaftwith a 30 degree feather) on a three day kayaking course and found I couldn’t go back to using my old paddle so bought my own - same spec.The new paddle is light, powerful and the ergonomic crank shaft really reduces fatigue, aches and strains. The design looks fantastic and gets lots of compliments at my canoe club. Before and after sales service was great. Would definitely recommend

I'd recently bought a pair of splits online which were rendered unfit for use by myself due to an ongoing injury. I took them for repair here and ended up leaving with a pair of genesis blades and some pretty helpful advice. My mind is blown by how lightweight and stiff they are which has helped to no end. Amazing Paddles!!! - will totally order again.So this is my 2nd set of Mitchell paddles, White Water Predators, crank shaft, Zero degree feather, 200 length. 1st set lasted me about 6 years of really heavy use and abuse and I loved them, felt great, worked great and the amount of power and control they gave as awesome. However I broke them, I was in a play hole and braced upstream.... you can imagine how that ended, my own fault.Lance was great, really really good comms, sent me pictures of the new shaft design and materials. I did have the carbon blades, this time I went for the Alutex blades with the kevlar tips and the carbon shaft.They arrived in pretty short order, made to measure. MY WORD!!! they are very pretty!!! got to take them on a local Grade 4 run to break them in.HOLY PADDLES BATMAN!!!! amazing paddles, the new oval shaft grips, the grip sheaths, the blade design, even better than the last set. I paddle a Large Dagger Newmad (Nomad 8.5) and it makes that monster boat feel like a much smaller, faster, lighter boat. To say i'm impressed is an understatement. Plus did I mention they look really pretty.

We run a Sea Kayaking and mountain business. We have been using Mitchell blades for the last 6 years. having become disillusioned with another very well known brand. We had severely sets of blades snap at the feral point and others with excessive moment at that same point.Since we switched to Mitchell blades we have not had a single problem. They are fantastic.We cant recommend these paddles highly enough.Thank you Lance

Mitchell cranked Bombura paddleJust had to contact you to say how wonderful the new paddle is! Have tried many others and it’s so much better, and the locking mechanism just works!Have taken it on day trips, rock hopping and surfing and it’s fantastic!Took a while to sort out the length for my grip, but having sorted that, it’s been amazing, and my wrists have been much better Thanks, Chris

Just got my order in for a new set of Mitchell Genesis paddles. Have been loving the Nemesis, just needed another set of the beautiful paddles. Talking through with Lance made the decision so easy will post up pictures when they arrive.

Great Paddles! Mine seems perfectly balanced, it's light, strong and very responsive. I've found it has an exceptionally natural feel and predictable behaviour in terms of fine tuning my blade angles during strokes. There's no other I'd rather use.
