Who ever had the job of updating the opening times if post office buildings on the internet should be fired, but the on site staff at the office are exceptional. Very helpful and friendly even when under pressure.

I got a lecture today from a delivery woman because she had to come to my door, down two flights of stairs, apparently I should have gone to her, never mind that I would have to leave a toddler inside or drag him outside with me...I don't remember ever receiving a wage from royal mail???? So why am I expected to do her job?

Opening times are a joke. Especially as they send text messages outside of them saying the item is ready to be collected. Clearly not staff’s fault but something needs to be fixed.

It seems the postman dumped our parcel here with no intention of delivering. They did not ring the bell or knock...just put a card through the door even when we were in and waiting. This suggests they are overloaded and need more staff. Sadly this seems what staff resort to when they can't cope. I mentioned it on the desk. The counter staff said they would pass it on....

The limited time window of 8-10am could be challenging for individuals with busy schedules or those who work during those hours. The small room and unpleasant odor can make the waiting experience uncomfortable and unpleasant, especially if the wait time is long.
