Great Spanish food at really good prices. We went to their 'El Tableo' event and some dishes really took me back to my town. Great beer also. The service was outstanding, attentive, and friendly. We are definitely coming back.

Having spent time living and working in Spain I consider myself quite the tapas snob. Maricarmen did not disappoint. The tapas are authentic and well priced. I’ve visited twice now, at a weekend for a la carte menu and during the week for the tableo where each tapa is £3. Great concept and looking forward to returning again. The wine and cocktails are also super.

Best tapas I have had for a long time. Portion sizes were good, so you can actually sample quite a bit of the menu. Staff is very friendly, definitely would recommend!

What a fantastic place. My wife and I visited on Thursday 30th November were made very welcome and enjoyed the conversation with Pedro and Jose very much. We wanted to try so many more of the dishes on the a la carte menu but could not fit them all so tough decisions had to be made. Everything we did have was delicious, nothing disappointed, including the drinks (the Vermouth cocktail, the Alhambra reserva and the albarino were all really good). We chose the bread with tamaco, patatas bravas, gambas al ajillo, iberico pork cheek, castellana meatballs. All were amazing and we will be back very soon to work our way through the rest. By the way, I'm not usually a fan of Kale but the kale which was part of the Iberico pork was incredible with a lovely salty crunch that completed an incredible, sumptuous dish. Try it! I cannot recommend Maricarmen enough. The food is incredible, from the cold tapas (including the tastiest olives I have ever tried) to the hot tapas such as the Octopus, Squid, Patatas Bravas, Gambas etc. I would list them all!The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are so friendly and helpful.I will definitely go back as often as possible!

Good vibes, good food with authentic Spanish chefs and good spanish music that creates the atmosphere I was looking for some time in Manchester. Fantastic the croquetas and the black rice.

Best tapas restaurant in Manchester! The food was very authentic and tasty and the staff was lovely.We tried ensaladilla, patatas bravas, croquetas, lagarto, fried squid, octopus and tarta de santiago as dessert. It made us feel like home!Don't miss the octopus, it was great!To sum up, great prices, cool environment and amazing food. Would definitely be coming back again.Gracias!!!

What a great pop up! After moving back to the U.K. from Spain, it’s hard to find places that taste and feel authentic and also don’t market themself as “”””tapas”””” with average quality plates.This place fell into none of these stereotypes and delivered mouth-wateringly delicious food that was authentic but stylish, with amazing service. Even the chef came out to serve our dessert as another table got so engrossed in chat with the waiter - it felt like eating at a friends place.We will definitely be back. ¡Muchas gracias al equipo de Maricarmen!
