Absolutely impossible to get in touch... I have set up my council tax for direct debit, received a letter confirming so but when it came to it nothing was debited from my bank acc. They don't answer email and I spent 1 hour going through damn robot trying to reach an actual person but it is either impossible or ridiculously hard.

Contacted environmental department over an issue and the only communication I received from them was an email approximately 6weeks later asking what I thought of their response LOL.The parks department promised action very soon on another issue,3 months later, still waiting.

Useless people. Like many people said before, if you need help with a payment or something, good luck. If you stop paying, all hell will break lose.Why are they so useless? Seriously, why?

SODC are now telling council tax payers (us, the people that pay SODC's wages) that we have to wash and dry all vessels in our recycle bins or they won't be emptied. They're overstepping their authority. Did you want to do the work of a recycling company for free, so they can save money? I didn't think the council has the right to make us work for them for free. Write to your MP's and the media about these tyrants. What next?

This council is still hiding from the 03/20 coronovirus. Nearly 2 years on. They don’t answer any calls. When you do manage to get through them sidewards if you need to collect something they will make you stand in front of the window while they hide behind the wall. Guys just get a grip

They collect bins effectively and realistically that is what most people are paying for. If you ever have an issue with council tax you have to deal with Capita who are unfailingly useless.

recycling bin taken by the bin men and tools stolen by a small bin lorry. that was supposed be for people to take for free and NOT FOR THE BIN. they returned" some of it. they gave me back a BROKEN cooker that I put in the bin for the most obvious reason that exists and didn't return the rest of my stuff that was supposed to be returned. absolutely disgusting "service".shut them down."
