High expectations met with a mediocre experience. It was advertised promising a high-class experience, but in reality, it was not followed through. The name Johnny Walker" may attract many people to this tour; I recommend those people to check out "the Scotch whiskey experience" in Edinburgh. It'll cost you less and you'll enjoy it much better.Edinburgh

Don't like whiskey but hubby does so decided to try the pairing session with cocktails and canapes. Wasn't sure about some of the offerings after reading the menu but decided to be brave and try it all. Loved it. Would highly recommend the whole event. The waiters were entertaining and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and for me a none whiskey lover, the cocktails were mostly delicious with the odd one being shared with the hubby. Would highly recommend!!!!

Unbelievable experience from start to finish. Staff was amazing and truly knowledgeable. We did the Whisky Maker's Cellar, a real once in a lifetime experience. You are taken down to an actual cask vault where they keep actual barrels of their whisky. Some of them unreleased to the public, some rare, and also experimental ones. As long time whisky collector I would highly recommend this tour as it has an quite the surprise ending. I'll leave it at you will be tasting something only a small few will ever.

One of the best experiences you can do in Edinburgh. Thomas was our tour guide and he was amazing. We did the Flavours tour, you learn about the story of Johnnie Walker, then an explanation of how the whisky is made, and you get three drinks. It's not just a tour, is a full-on performance, there's music, lights-show, different rooms, we were truly impressed.

We did the Johnnie walker flavour tour and it was great. A really immersive experience that was provided and we had three cocktails included in the tour so the £30 cost for the tour is well worth it as the cocktails in the 1820 roof top bar cost more.I would really recommend it if you are into your whiskeys and in Edinburgh. My kids took me here for a late fathers present and it was a great experience. The view from the roof top bar of the castle is amazing as you can see.Scott in the shop downstairs was a great help and a fantastic member of the staff who helped me in deciding what gifts to buy for my family. If you come here and meet Scott ask him how he got his name a really interesting story.Amazing place and must if you come to Edinburgh

Wonderful whiskey place. Very fun drinking experience. The chocolate is pretty good too! I’d recommend going to the rooftop bar to get a fantastic view of Edinburgh castle and Edinburgh in general! Also the appetizers we had (truffle fries and potatoes) were absolutely top notch die for! Seriously! Very good food and experience

Gotta say, absolutely brilliant tour and our guide Rose was delightful. I’m afraid I can’t remember the name of the second lass who told the tale of how Johnny walker began but she was very entertaining and both guides were excellent story tellers. You’d almost miss the fantastic views from part of the tour overlooking parts of the city. The drinks offers are tasty and refreshing. Great tour and highly recommended!!
